just realized, those are some pretty impressive catapults to hit that high up on the tree from darkshore.
For everyone babbling about evilness in regard of how Horde relates with war, I'll remember some of beloved Vol'jin's thoughts about the matter in Shadows of the Horde. This speech unfolds after he drinks Chen Stormstout "Freedom" brewing:
What I wonder is role-playing wise how a horde Druid could justify following Sylvanas after this (well I mean other than the obvious, that the game doesn't give a choice to switch sides or go neutral)? After all, in the druid lore Teldrassil was essentially just as much a sacred site to all druids including horde druids as it was to the night elves.
Great, Sylvanas throws a temper tantrum and burns thousands of civilians just because one night elf decides to pity her...
Guys, if you don't like the thread, leave it. No one is keeping you here.
Dunno the whole thing make no sense. Why to burn Teldrassil? It is far from everything a remote island behind "far far away". Azerite is everywhere as she said. Alliance hub for azorite? Dear queen don't want to bother you but did you see Broken Shore or Pandaria on the map? That would be a good hub not a remote island. So this part is stupid imao.If she would sayA) we lost many forsaken and filling up the army is important, now the night elves are weak let's hit on themB) In case Greymane loose it after the event in the book and hit on Undercity / Lorderon and as revenge let's hit on the tree....C) azerite is concetrated around the tree....I could accept any of this and would hopp on my mount and would go. But for "preventative"... ehh waddaheck is that? Maintenance? ... that's pure Kodo poodoo. It looks like dear Sylvanas is high on azerite a bit.... and she got the supply from Silithus it might have a residue from Sargeras.....Which means she is on Sargerite... and we are in trouble no matter which side we play or love more. There will be blood... and lot's of it. Saurfang is our hope, he has honor.
No idea why people are so surprised/offended by this turn of events. Sylvanas is literally vengeance manifest. Just because she was made warchief doesn't change who she is.This is so true to her character it's perfect. She was always the rogue amongst Horde leadership anyway. Whenever decisions were being made, she'd be standing off to the side suggesting something far out the others would just be like 'Sylvanas, no.' This is her, this has always been her. She's just been too preoccupied with the whole Legion thing - now that's done, old school hatred is rekindled.Besides, we all know Jaina has been sitting on some pretty serious rage for a long-ass time. She's going to get her angry on too, you watch. It was hinted in her Warbringers video, she's totally going to let loose. I hope she does. I want rage, I want violence. I want Horde and Alliance murdering each other in the streets. This is what BfA was meant to be, and this all fits perfectly. Not sure what people were expecting.
