My my my they finally done it, they put some work into druids. Gotta say though as a former druid it really is too little too late.I say this because there was so much happening here and there and nothing for druids that I couldn't trust if they were EVER going to work on druids so I changed my main class for DF, give myself some time to get used to them, set them up and all that so when DF starts I am not learning a brand new class from scratch, I want to start on a good footing. And I am not the only one, plenty have already dropped druids no thanks to Blizzard taking their sweet ass time making changes.
This isnt better?
it´s not even better than before and moonfire nerf is hurting hard....thx for nothing blizz
DF Guardian Druid: everything you once had is sprinkled along the bottom rows so you can’t get them all anymore, and to get to it here are some talents that buff Maul. Cheers, and have fun!
Oh, that splash art is amazing! I just hope that the choices won't be too restrictive since I won't claim to have a lot of experience with it.
This is worse than before.
Buffing maul feels pointless honestly, guardian druids have forgot it existed for a reason and buffing it's damage probably won't change that.
the more they change the druid the more it gets bad and awesome. buff maul lol
I don't get these changes. The guardian tree was released in a perfect state months ago. That's why there weren't any changes until now. But since all the baby bears kept whining you got what you deserved
Nerf it
Ummm....is this an out-of-season April fool's joke?

Alright, so I’m excited to see them address the tree but all we really needed was a reduction in 2-3 point talents. Moving all our best M+ and even raid options to the bottom right is a massive nerf. Our dmg was insanely high in prepatch yes, so if they want a 10% dmg nerf to moonfire, fair enough, but these talent swaps actively make our choices even more restrictive. We not cannot take as many capstones as we are absolutely forced into the bottom right. I’m so confused. They finally made changes and it’s a nerf? 5% dmg nerf, okay. But like a massive talent row nerf? Why? What did we do do deserve this lol.
I don't know/understand how anyone continues to play Guardian, or Feral for that matter, in this game. The class has had zero changes that make a difference whatsoever since CATA. Basic animations, basic rotations, no key moments, no stand out ANYTHING. I seriously don't understand how anyone can play these and not fall asleep at keys. Frankly I applaud this part of the playerbase for being so able to withstand being exactly the same thing for over a decade and still call each expansion 'new content.' But on the flip side I wish ya'll were louder and complained more because thats what its gonna take to make real change happen.
I don't want to cast maul, that's all there is to it, there's rarely a reason to dump rage into that
Not to punch a gift horse in the mouth, but the bear tree was only a minor part of the problem, we need help with the class treePaladins and Druids are the only utility ripe classes that are being actively forced to navigate away from utility in our class tree, other classes are gaining Utility, while bear and paladin are losing it, currently to grab important end caps, paladin has to do without sac, or bop, taking both deprives them of important endcaps.druid has little way of taking majority of the left class talent tree and still getting things like mass entangle and typhoon/vortex or all the abilities we used to just get for picking an affinity.so as glad as i am to see them touch some of bears sore spots, im hopeful this isn't the last update to the class tree before launch. Some Things fixed (good job blizzard)Maul being buffed means it's no longer a terrible rage spender, as thrash would outdmg at as low as 2 targets and was only 20% higher ST than thrash Mangle buff isn't perfect, but it helps our tier set, testing had pervious version of mangle's 4p healing do 2% of our HP, which is a doodoo amount, a new tier set would have been better as we get no use of mangle in most aoe situations unless we end up rage starved for some reason.wildfire will still be an iffy pick, but guardian of elune's buff is honestly great as holding 100% uptime on mitigation is awesome for our presence in raid, meaning a build that picks up this talent might be near.
It doesn't feel like an improved tree, more like different issues to deal with now.
