ALL WORLD QUESTS should drop the MAXIMUM ilvl, 213 just for korthia gear is a dumb choice
the higher the renown on the main is, the less is the chance to catch up alts.renown is an alt killer!
I wish the WQ reward upgrades were account wide. That would make way more sense with how high you need your Renown to be to unlock them.Kind of like the increased Anima rewards we got months ago. By the time your alts could get it, they didn't really need it and it still isn't account wide.
So wait...Everyone complaining "this gear is too low" is either...A) A raider, and thereby the gear is not INTENDED for you: Normal is 226/233, Heroic is 239/246, and Mythic is 252/259.orB) A Mythic+ Dungeon runner, and thereby the gear is a potential side-grade for you (depending on investment): Mythic+ Gear is 210 > 246.Korthia "catch-up" gear caps at 233 at Rank 6 (which is NOT an easy grind many casuals will have completed yet). That is 13 ilevels below the highest M+ Gear possible, and equal to Normal Kel'Thuzad/Sylvannas drops.Anyone who does content that pushes the above and beyond, sit yourself down, and be quiet. Not everything is catered to you.The catch-up gear is for a few groups:1: Alts - Depending what content you take them in, it may not matter as much, but that is on you the player.2: Casual players - LFR is 213/220, so Korthia gear is better3: Soloists - Yes, that is different from casuals. Soloists just don't like playing with other people, doesn't mean they are not GOOD at the game.4: New/Returning Players - to help them... wait... CATCH UP! If they don't got a guild or friends, this is going to be their gear source for a bit.If you want content that caters to your interests, that is one thing. But if your interests are "fulfill my game time with all content, and it must be rewarding, regardless", then you need to re-evaluate your use of time in this game. Not everything is made for everyone.
For the longest time I had wondered exactly what level WQ rewards would increase to at this renown. The tooltip was/is frustratingly vague about it for no good reason. Saying "ilvl of stuff increased" without giving a number just doesn't help. We have another one of these increases at a later renown point as well, right? What does the gear ultimately end up at? This shouldn't be an unanswered question, something players have to speculate, or make educated guesses on. It should just be clearly communicated by the game. Not having clear and straightforward explanations is annoying. Same with the Adamant Vault loot being weekly. If not in game, at the very least, it can be through a Blue post or something.
M0 is 210 gear. This is not much of an upgrade..
Imo they sould finally make the progression system account wide like in Diablo 3. It wouldnt mean you wouldnt do the content at all, you have to do it once after all, but it would mean you wouldnt have to do it the 8th time with your alt. They sometimes implement little skips, but the important stuff still must be grinded out.
Level an alt to 60 on sunday, already 221 ilevel (not raiding). Seems kinda meh that the system for alt catchup is so slowly catching up to the easy to acquire gear already in. WQs have felt like pointless filler content for a while and this isn't helping.
The gear ilvl is fine for a catch-up but what I don't understand is why it doesn't come in till renown 62. You're not going to have alts that you're catching up at that renown. That's main level progress.
