the previous time walk scaling was just dumb. Anybody at the level specified were too op, but anybody above were much weaker. This should balance that issue out
This deserves a *spitting out a drink in shock* reaction. Not a fan of this decision, personally...
Yee makes sense
Hooray, finally in Timewalking I won't have to deal with players who don't even have all their talents yet. You know, since Timewalking is always scaled for max level players anyway.
Does timewalking even really make sense anymore? What level are players going to be 'scaled down' to anyway, in the context of every expansion being basically the same level while leveling? If anything timewalking should now work in reverse, scaling the instances UP to whatever level the players are at.
should be level 10. they have the scaling tech to scale people up or down.If I am playing through Northrend while leveling, why can't I partake in time walking there? This just seems stupid to me.
What happens to Timewalking currency that my lower level characters already have? Do they get to keep it? Can they *buy* things still -- or do they have to wait until they hit 50 to access the vendors? Or do they lose it entirely?
No more low level alts leveling.
As others have stated, Timewalking is for characters who cannot queue naturally for these dungeons. In SL, that will be 50+ when you are kicked out of Chromie Time. Since any 10-49 player can literally join any Chromie timeline, they can naturally queue for these dungeons in the group finder. Therefore, you will not be eligible for Timewalking. Since the currency and mount comes from the TW versions, you will only get them while running the TW version.
