When's Endless..?
What about Twisting Corridors? When that opens?
at blizzcon didn't devs say if we wanted we could lvl alts 50-60 from purely torghast, also endless mode?
Twisting Corridors will open when we complete the quest Signs of the Lion from Bolvar questline. This one is the 8th of the serie, while we're going to start the 5th on next reset.
So what? Where to spend this soul Ash? I have legendary item, I've upgraded it to level 2. In next few weeks it would be level 3. What's next? Why should I go to Thorghast?
You'll need multiple legendaries to be competitive but if you're a casual then you won't have to do Torghast until they bring in the cosmetic stuff.
For those asking for endless mode, there is none. Only twisting corridors. Its a bit longer version of regular torghast but nowhere close.Blizz got lazy and cut the endless mode instead of actually trying to balance it as they say.And if it does indeed return, expect it to no longer be fun at all
Because the content is fun, I think.
Depending on how hard 6 is for your spec/class, if looking on doing most efficient, and dont want to do 7 and 8, if you 6 on both wings you'd get 970 a week, which is not much less than max, and probably a good layer for most, as 7 and 8 are probably going to be pretty gated on gear. 6 is to hard for some, where some specs have cleared it. so we will see how difficult 7 and 8 are, else I'll just stop at 6 each week, till get geared. might do 8 once just for achieve but I dont see myself doing 2x 8 clears a week, thats going to be crazy. (at least for awhile)example there's a spriest who cleared 6 this week, I asked her, what's your ilvl …187. ok then! (my hunter is only 173 atm..still grinding m0's and low keys)
I soloed both layer sixes this week with my 170 frost mage, but the wins took a couple hours each and there were also several losses. All told probably 8 hours or so.It was maybe fun for the novelty this week, but my sense is most everything comes down to did you get the anima powers you needed to be truly broken. The Coldheart boss in particular seemed to be a timed race with a pretty fast soft enrage, and you could either do the insane damage required in that time or you just wasted your run.I don't think I'm going to be up for that lengthy initial investment that might fail and result in nothing too often. That's OK though, it seems like you can do the lower levels that will be faster and guaranteed wins, while still getting an acceptable amount of soul ash if you're not ultra competitive.
I know I'm not a great Mage, but I liked to think at least 'competent'.But man slowly clearing through floors just to get faced with packs that either destroy you, or you have to wait for all your CD to be back (and even then that doesn't always save you, just plain hurts.Never got through layer 5, and the time invested it takes to do this, there's just so much better uses of time. Especially 6+ if 5 was taking me this long without winning.Torghast seemed like it was gonna be really fun. Then I tried it, lol. Good thing I'm not a competitive raider or a participant in something that needs the best gear.Because choosing between having legendaries or not stepping back in there, easy choice for this baddie!
