Looks incredible! I would love to see this as the next expansion.
The hype is real.
I called this way back. That the next expansion would be a Sylvanas Lich Queen/Northrend expansion. All they know to do is repeat past storylines/places. They don't seem capable of advancing the story much beyond what went on in the WC1/2/3 rts games. That's why I also suggested a new WC4 might help WoW progress it's story some. I really think Sylvanas is going to seek the power of the Lich King, thus finishing her transformation into that which destroyed her to begin with (a typical classic, cliche type of Blizz story/writing).
Would love to see a "Rise of the Lich Queen" kind of thing, that'd be cool. If she wants to master death, who better to take out than the LK himself, then take his spot? I can dream at least.
"Sick hammer, bro. Can I borrow it?"
An Expansion of Ice and Fire
That looks absolutely incredible. Curious as to why his eyes are blue, but that obviously isn't an accident. There's a reason for that.Either way, I'm hyped to no end for this Blizzcon.
With the dozens of continuity errors and retcons that Blizzards makes every expansion people claiming, that this must be fake because his eye colour is wrong are kinda strange to me. By the same logic the end of Legion must be fake because the spirits of the titans should be inside the titan keepers on Azeroth and not on Argus. So are we still in 7.3 and everything since than is just an elaborate troll attempt ...coming to think of it... that might actually explain a lo - anyhow! For the unconvinced: Here are 5 possible reasons why daddy Bolvar's eyes might be blue:1) The Crown of Damnation (or Ner'zhul or Arthas) took over Bolvars mind completely. To indicate this his eye colour changed to blue.2) He's casting some powerful and super cool-looking death magic spell like raising a dozen frost wyrms at once, summoning a blizzard or what not. And of cause if you cast spell your eyes become shiny in the according colour 'cause this is how stuff works in a fantasy universe.3) He tapped into the power of the Frozen Throne and/or the Shadowlands and his eyes are now blue for the same reason Blood Elves have green and/or golden eyes. 4) Alexstrasza's dragon fire is subsiding after all the years, so he might of to turn to good ol' death magic to sustain himself. Would also explain why he looks notably less hot than the last time we saw him. 5) Blizzard decided it looks cool. PS: And as a little bonus: when we are worried about inconsistency why is nobody wondering where he got that hammer from? The local DIY store?
If the next expansion is set in the shadowlands, what's going to happen when HP reaches 0 in those zones? Death runs turn into living runs?
Prediction: bolvar isnt the villain, hes the Khadgar of the expac (main questgiver/guides us through the new continent)
Anyone think that maybe the blue eyes signify him accepting the role as being the new Lich King, and that it is more of a visual acknowledgement that he is no longer fighting the role, and is ready to use it? Maybe when put into full context, instead of just a simple screenshot, all will be revealed? I still say he, and his Death Knights, are going to be needed to fight back the armies of N'Zoth. Why is it that everyone is worried about his eyes, when we should all be wondering when we will get that mace as a transmog at the very least?
bruh please think a little harder
Blizz, don't listen to these sour pusses this is %^&*ing sick. Been waiting for this for a long time
