Bound = Unlocked should be live ages ago by default on every content.Being able to equip something shouldn't come into play in a "keeping something in a collection" scenario. You should even be able to drop BoEs into a little square in the collections pane to bind them (even if you can't equip them) and add them to the collection, and do the same even with whites and grays (but those would be consumed in the process).
As a collector, I whole heartedly approve. All the runs I still have to do still! All the new content that will be old one day. It will save so much time!
Talents like adding all pieces to the journal and extra dmg will 100% not happen, but speed buffs and teleports, more of a vanity, but helpful vanity, elements would be very nice indeed.
As much as I would absolutely love this kind of quality of life. I know it's never going to happen
It's interesting seeing all of these "nah these things are too powerful comments." It's almost like we've been in this abusive relationship for so long, we only expect to be mistreated rather than given something easy or fun.I'm all for something like this. Or 'perks you unlock the more you collect/run.' My collecting (primarily Legion and BFA) has stopped completely due to the scaling issues. If they'd at least fix them, I'd happily get back to it.
Sounds great, but... indie company. They don't have the finances. They can't even make the RPG side of the game more entertaining while being a mmoRPG. So what the heck do we expect ? Ornementals suck big time and are 10 years late at the partyOld stuff from legacy content looks worse than Lotro graphics on lowNo housingNo class fantasy whatsoever Lore has been pretty lame since a long time now I mean the only positive thing I can take out of the RPG experience from this game put out these last years was Legion.Aside from the competitive gameplay in M+ and Arenas, this game is pretty underfinanced for anything MMORPG related. They spend more money on Merch than the actual game.
Please Blizzard.
Honestly I don't much care for this, I would prefer they make all legacy content solo-able (looking at you mythic Kil'Jaden) instead and got rid of runes/artifact powers as drops from raids.
but having these good bonuses means that you'll be dissatisfied in the current expansion's, i love to see wow's old content be more relevant but i disagree to letting the players do basically anything they want there, i would say doing world quests in old zones that give relevant rewards and allow mythic keystones to send you to old dungeons would be a much better choice
Awesome idea! Too bad Blizzard doesn't care about player ideas, only their own garbage ideas. They just have far too much pride to come off their high horse and actually talk to players who have legitimate ideas. They only care about your ideas if you literally break the game (See Rextroy).
Most of these options are too strong and alter the average person's perception of their class.Bear tartare baseline for example would make the casual ret player think they will always get a sprint after a kill, and when they no longer did at max level, it would feel bad/weird.
would love this if it were brought to the game
awful idea, we alread have a talent tree
This sounds like fun. I would love to see this! Especially if they ever tie it to an evergreen Player Housing system that includes trophies and decorations for elements like legacy raid content, exploration and so on.
A fun idea that will never see the light of day because it would mess with engagement metrics, which are obviously more important than fun. You can't put fun on a graph for management, so it's worthless.
