I'm probably wrong here, but looks like a set of armour for the new Death Knight class? There are two other 'Grey' quality sets aswell with similar names. Doesn't seem like a level 70/80 set so maybe a 60 set.

(Please correct me if this is a really old set that has been removed :P)

Second itemset bonus is still bugging.

Having 1412 ap with 3 set items and no gloves on. Equipping Frostscale Gloves shows the bonus colour as green and the gloves gives 88 ap as they should but no bonus ap whatsoever.

The 4p bonus only adds melee attack power, not ranged. Likely a bug I'd say ^^

Full set (only green's) requires 88 leather.

I can't wait to make this for my enhancement shaman. Hopefully I'll have dual spec by then as well, so I can make the caster set for a resto spec. Oh well, just another 20 levels to go...

I think it's really a bummer that by the time you can make the entire set, the first parts have become almost worthless. Or at least there is better gear. Even from (solo) quests you can often get better gear than you can make at that level (no dungeons, pvp, raids or group quests needed). At lvl74 (minimal lvl to make Bracers/Helm of the set) Wowhead considers the first 5 parts (Belt, Leggings, Chestguard, Shoulders and Gloves) low-level. And you need level 75 and 76 to make the blue upgrade items, Dark Frostscale Leggings and Breastplate. At that point ALL of the other parts are considered low-level.

Each production profession can produce some items that only they can use at higher levels. I think that tailoring, leatherworking and blacksmithing should be able to make armor sets that are better than or at least as good as the quest gear at that level. Otherwise you are only producing gear for others. There can be one at lvl20, lvl40, lvl60 and at lvl80. They could do something just as good for the other professions. And if needed to keep things fun and equal they can make it BoP so only the producer can use it.

In the very least it should be equal to quest gear (you can receive at that level) if you wear the ENTIRE set. Also the professional skill-level needed to make the parts of the set should be closer together so you are able to produce the entire set before one or more parts become low-level.
