I think it's a fundamentally good idea to make floors more difficult the longer you stay on them. But I really do hope they implement that in a way that isn't a hard timer. It could be the case that we're just just seeing timers datamined when it reality they might be giving you x amount of time outside of combat so you can't just wait for cds. /shrug
Adding timers is a bad idea.
I like the hub room and the deaths change. I have no issues with the way the timer was described in the interview so I'm anxious to see how it works in practice.
Holy moly it's pretty much Lord Marrowgar's room, right?Edit: Well like a combination of that and the upper citadel area of ICC (where it branches into the 3 zones)
I think the timer is a good idea to keep people moving and not pulling only when lust/heroism is available. I think it needs to be an extreme timer though. I am not in alpha so I don't really know how long it takes to clear a floor. Lets say it takes an average player an average of 15 minutes to clear a floor. Under that circumstance the timer needs to be 25 or 30 minutes. It needs to be enough that it only affects people actually trying to beat the system by waiting for lust each pull. The timers do not need to be a race mechanic. They need to be an integrity mechanic, if that makes sense.
