My opinion on the topic:Elemental: - Personaly I really like the Ascendance playstyle (Ascendance which makes no cd on Lava Burst, refreshes all the Flame Shocks, and cast Lava Burst with chance for mastery proc to every target with Flame Shock; Primordial Wave to make the dotting easier, after casting a Lava Burst cast Lava Burst with chance for mastery proc, and give haste after for each additional Lava Burst; Echoing Shock to mainly reduce a cast every 30 sec to global cd, while you can maybe jump out of an aoe; Fire Elemental to make Flame Shock ticks 25% faster and make the Flame Shock last 2x longer; and finally Deeply Rooted Elements which give the Lava Burst + Mastery + Lava Bursts from Primadial Wave + Mastery + Lava Burst from Echoing Shock + Mastery + Lava Bursts from Ascendance + Mastery to proc Ascendance again.) which was not includet in the post.- I like about the post, that it gives a Lava Burst heavy playstyle and the Chain Lightning/Lightning Bolt heavy playstyle options at the same time.- I get it why you want to remove the Elements and make it a buff, but it sounds in my mind a bit wierd that frost mage will have the only one with elemental not the Elemental shaman. I think its simple solution is just rename the buffs name like gift of Smolderon instead of Fire Elemental. It would make it cooler lore whise, cus the elemental energy is very high on Azeroth (that why Dragon Isle become unsealed), so the shamans can have a bigger part in the expansion.Enhancement:- First of all one of the best post that I read.- As a heavy pve player I just wouldn't pick Totemic Projection so if they add I hope they put on a chose one talent, cus for me it would be a minus talent spot for some better spell.- I probably alone with this but the crit based chain harvest playstyle where you can press a 1:30 minute CD every 10 sec is just feels so good.Restoration:- The post iitself is very strange sadly. (Mainly its too short)- Earth Shield just ripping out of the toolkit would just leave a hole in the class.- SPIRIT LINK TOTEM is just a must have. We have it from cata and saved too much lives to not to be around!- The Chain Harvest is not really a fun to use ability for resto.- The Primordial Wave would be a cool ability which make a strong single target heal to be a strong aoe heal with 2x the effect on the primary target, if we wouldn't have already Spirit Link Totem or Ascendance. (I think the resto dudu and Holy Priest would find it pretty strong for their toolkits but not us, we already have 2 better version)- Last but not the least the Vesper Totem. A not long cd ability which dotting the mobs dealing multiple aoe dmg and aoe healing and a big burst dmg and heal. A totem to feel unique to the shaman. An instant spell. Drop where you want not only at your feet. And access to a new dmg type (Arcane). I can't really think a better dmg spell for resto shaman.

can we please bring back the Lightening Bolt animation that was reverted in 7.3? i dont know who the hell was crying about it, it looked amazing compared to the jpeg we have at the moment. please and thank you <3
I hope Blizzard brings back Totem for Shamans. It was super funny because you could adapt your totems to the situation you were facing, it was also really cute to have every race to have different shaped totems, now you can see them only as Resto and it’s kinda meh
I've been working on a wishlist of sorts for shamans myself. Except it's not just a list, I've been trying to create a full-on talent tree layout as well. I wanted to see for myself just how difficult it is to distribute all the per-existing stuff and filling the quota for enough nodes (spoilers: it's very hard).You can find it here. Gust of wind, yes please.I'd love something that extended the duration of Flame Shock, I really don't enjoy the playstyle of having to reapply it regularly, it's not actually a fun button to press.And while I'm OK with the other idea for the elementals - do *not* get rid of my Earth Ele please. I do not want to swap my wonderful minute long tank for some crappy increased armour and threat. I love my earth ele, and it's hard for me to even express how disappointed I'd be if this was done.
We used to have this glyph, so that every time you drop one type of totem, you drop ALL types of totems. Please give this back. I know it's a small and silly aesthetic thing, but I'd really like to see more attachment to our totems, like in Vanilla. At the least, put the the old quests back in for the class, and just have them award a couple gold rather than the actual ability if need be, shoul you think folks having to earn their totems/demons/paladin mount is too arduous.That added attachment adds to the immersion and class identity.
Enhance section was the best thought through section so far, with good knowledge of the class and its pain points and how they are creating the talent trees.
Enhancement (primary element being Air):First path: Focused on secondary element being Fire, similar to current design.Second path: Focused on secondary element being Water (more Frost Damage instead of Fire).Third path: Focused on secondary element being Earth, with talent(s) that brings back two-handed weapon Enhancement.Fourth spec: Tank, primary element being Earth (because Enhancement = Air, Elemental = Fire, and Restoration = Water).Brings back two concepts from the original class design that a lot of people still cling to hope for, and it just makes sense to have a spec for each element, right?

My wish is just only a little cosmetic for lightning bolt/chain lightning have glyph or a quest chain to change their color to yellow, like in many other animation series or even in some films we can see for an Example: Thor love and thunder, or for animation we all knows Pokemon's yellow lightning. PLEASE its not a big ask, warlocks already have a fel (green) color for their spells from Mop.
Totems off of GCD and shamanistic rage have to be a must to add for enhancement. The spec is too easy to counter due to its predictible burst that takes 2 - 3 globals to activate.Also would be nice to have ascendance with a reduced CD and being off GCD as well but removing its initial dmg when activated to balance it.
