Here's hoping 8.2 is a knockout patch, because we need it. The community is seriously lacking faith these days, (with good reason), and I don't want to see the game that has brought me so much joy for 13 years die.
agreed! Im super stoked for this patch. Hopefully this patch revives the game greatly
Why you didnt mentioned "Sylvanas - vengeance" ? My first thought about Sylvanas wouldnt be "vengeance" for sure
I'm interested to see the "Exploration" mode for Islands, although it feels that should have been there since launch. Still better late than never. Havenswood and Jorundal are improvements over the normal original islands, in my opinion, so I'm also interested in Snowblossom and Crestfall when they arrive. I also like the idea of a sandbox, so that'll be a welcome addition in my books when it comes to Mechagon and Nazjatar. In the words of the Great Watcher however, "That being said..."I'm skeptical about the "advanced npcs" given the npc teams from islands, "improving the assaults" when the faction assaults are so lackluster and they should have been the improvement to begin with, and the "evolved world questing."Considering how ramshackle the Mag'har Recruitment quest-line is, I imagine they're waiting to announce and show off any new allied races until they can fit much better into the story. I imagine this patch might set up junker gnomes and gilgoblins, as they fit Blizzard's requirement of being a branch of an already existing race.
I mean I see content. Flight will be back. But in the end, the main complaint everyone has is class gameplay and I am not sure they can fix that mid expansion.
Taliesin & Evitel - THE go-to resource for entertaining (I laugh so much) and informative discussion around WoW. Best of all - they give reasonable commentary on WoW without all the shrill emotional rubbish you find elsewhere. They are certainly critical but also supportive of the game we all love. You will love Evitel's take on Josh (aka CM Lore) of Blizzard's "Ion and Josh" duo. That zoned out stare while Ion waxes lyrical in his usual 200+ IQ perfectly logical manner is perfect. Oh did I mention the wig?
Like what I'm seeing. Especially that the quest items will turn into bigger stories in the future.
Oh man, this all sounds awesome! I love the idea of littering future story hints in IEs, and them really pushing where they can go.
Awesome! I'm not sure where all the negativity is coming from in BfA (I'd place it above BC and Cata, and it's nowhere close to the mess that WoD was), but hopefully this content helps to lift some people's spirits. Looks like lots of good stuff inc shortly.
The way they mentioned public events seems like it was lifted from Destiny 2. In that game, events in the various regions would occur for players in that area to openly join and complete to get rewards. Also, this is their best interview yet, likely because Ion isn't involved. More proof that guy's gotta go. Will definitely wait until the 9.2/9.3 patch next expansion before buying it.
I'm excited to see a Warcraft II map brought to 3d life with Crestfall! Exploring the first two games is always really interesting to me.
Thanks Wowhead, you did a much better job summarising this interview than we did XD
I enjoyed the questions they did ask, but I wish they asked if there were at least still some plans to tinker with Island drops while they were asking those questions.
Love the little quests from island items, they make the world feel alive.
I think Blizzard has or should read this excellent post, so they know how wrong they are. And the world of the warcraft community wants and does not speculate so badly, as they have.https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/the-unofficial-high-elf-discussion-megathread/18812
