Patch 10.1 Return of the Infinite? Sign me up
I have a feeling that Murozond will be the final boss of the expansion.
That is so lazy and lame. I mean you waste a moment with Jailer who can control Infinite fligh in end of SL. Only to make another Big Bad Guy who control everything all time long and just flush that BBG to a toilet. You did this in the end of BfA with NZoth then in SL with Jailer and going to do it again and again. Have you guys have script-writers?
Having Murozond as a boss in a raid would be cool, but it would be kinda underwhelming. We know he dies in End Time, so if he were a raid boss, then the encounter would not end in his death, only his defeat. Now, if the boss isn't Murozond, but another big infinite dragon, and the boss encounter is defending Nozdormu from being turned, only for us to fail and THEN get Murozond, that would be pretty cool.
This could tend to make Murozond the BBEG of the expansion, with a possible retcon of its origins as it was said it got mad from Old Gods, so it could also mean a foreshadowing of the next expansion with a come back to fight some void entity, bigger than old gods (and hopefully with less tentacles, as the infinite dragonflight doesn't show this kind of spells), or even not void related. On another note, wasn't the revamp of Uldaman just a dungeon available during the prepatch event, which would kinda explain why the sudden interest for dragons again ?
It's going to be a bigger baddie but I wouldn't be surprised if Murozond is a raid boss in the 2nd or 3rd raid in the expansion. It would do Murozond and any other dragon aspect an injustice if they were not at least a raid encounter. I've always been disappointed that Ysera's death was just a story quest scenario instead of an actual raid or at least a dungeon fight. Hopefully they don't do that again.
Please leave Nozdormu alone, I don't want Chromie to be the leader of Bronze Dragons.
Awesome, infinite is my favourite flight and it's been over half the game's lifespan since we had a new Caverns of Time dungeon. I hope those come back, or a new CoT raid, or another Deaths of Chromie style scenario, or even Argus portal style incursions where we go into alternate timeline versions of Azeroth to fight off infinite invasions from a world where Ragnaros rose unchallenged or the like.
Yes, please. Nozdormu slowly becoming Murozond during Dragonflight will be the best idea. I even know the way to make it look plausible.Blizzard said that during questing there will be a big part connected with bronze dragonflight. During this storyline we can learn more about bronze dragons. At this point we can learn that bronze dragons (before Cataclysm) slightly affected the timeline so that their dragonflight can thrive. It also can be revealed that during the War of the Ancients Nozdormu secretly affected the timeline so that blue dragonflight got nearly extinguished (instead of bronze). As an example. After the Cataclysm, Nozdormu cannot affect the timeline like before, so his brood has been slowly falling apart since then. Plus we know that Nozdormu liked to have such control in the past. There are a few hints that this is true. Just before the events in Dragon Soul, Nozdormu confessed that he thought about travelling to the past to save all dragonflights and Malygos as well. There can be some catastrophic event that happens during Dragonflight and the part of bronze dragonflight got killed (or maybe Nozdormu's mate - Soridormi).Heartbroken Nozdormu can go directly to Alexstrasza in hope of getting a help/asking for permission to fix the course of events. At this point, there can be a dramatic dialog in which Alexstrasza will not allow it to be done. She also can state that she lost a lot as well including her little sister and beloved Korialstrasz. The dragon Queen can advise Nozdormu to put up with his grief.Nozdormu will disagree with this and try to take matters into his own hands. Knowing his fate, he will try to change everything so as to save his dragonflight and at the same time not to become Murozond.Failing and failing due his loss of power he will slowly get angry at everyone and understand that Murozond was his destiny all along and he did it for "right purposes" to save his brood as it is the only way to change things in the past.
I JUST NOW realized this is the same letters mixed aroundNorzdomu WARNED us that one day he'll eventually turn into Murozond
