YES! Wow, every single profession thing i've bug reported has now been fixed! That never happens! I'm pretty excited about that, but I do still wish they didn't nerf the level 50 gear to item level 87, although its not a big deal.
This is making level locking at 50 seem like a good value proposition. You lose 16 years of content the moment you hit 51.
It's talking about item level, right? Not player level?
hmm...I should still like to keep a lvl 50 cape in my bag with goblin glider engi enhancement...just in case!
level50 or item level 50? u people make people confused !
Being level 50 is no different than being level 120, same for ilevel. It's all just squished down. Not that difficult to understand.
Is that all going to be the final values? Because that's pretty junk in most cases.
I may be dumb but, that means that when you get a gear level 52 (let's say a quest reward) of you level up to 52, these enchants will no longer work? Cause if that's the case you can't use them until you hit level cap, right?
Erm... Guess you posted this too fast. It's still item level, not character level. Enchants never bind to the character, but the item level. As the items are still above the 50s you won't be able to use them on bfa gear for example.
Why are you mixing ITEM LEVEL with CHARACTER LEVEL Neryssa? In the datamined info you can clearly see that every time that Character Level is referenced, there is a call to string $ctrmax2067, while the item level requirements are static.
Most people will never use profession gear, I'm okay with gear I have, I won't be wasting my team getting lower ilvl gear to level through Shadowlands, makes 0 sense anyway. But yeah, it's a great change
Item level 50?
Are people going out of their way to act confused by this? Enchants specify the item level of the piece you can apply them to...not the character's level.
You can still use gear enhancements from old expansions when you're over level 50, the item just needs to have a lower than 50 level requirement.Should probably fix that title, Wowhead.
Difficult to know how much impact these enchants will have as I don't know what the new stats for a level 1 to level 50 character will look like. Like is 3 attack power even worth it on a heirloom item or is the stats worth nothing?
why? if i would do this i shoot myself in the foot.it makes sense to disable high end enchants on low gear but the other way around?
WAIT THE MINUTE.. What is, if all enchantments will have level cap 50, that is to say that Mongoose and Berserking it's works...? It would be excellent for legendary weapons or armor only time walking dungeons.
