Good lol its what he deserved
Poetic justice ⚖
I guess he was sent to Revendreth to atone for all his sin, I don't believe we ever got an example or mention that the Arbiter yeeted someone directly into the Maw. We only got evil souls that even after being sent to Revendreth they were unwilling to repent for their sins that they were then sent to the Maw.
Nice to see another known character in the shadowlands. Still, i'd like to see Elisand too at some point. As far as i'm concerned, she was sent to the maw because there is a mage trait in torghast called Elisand's echoes, so she must be there, somewhere. Os just turned into dust, who knows.Tbh, the maw seems... too much of a punishment. I mean... eternal torture? Eternity is so long, i doubt many people would deserve that. Revendreth's treatment can last for eons. And better don't get started with those who were thrown there unfairly, all of them.
Makes no sense that he would end up in the Shadowlands in the first place.. I would have assumed The Light would have intercepted him, similarly with other valuable members of the Scarlet Crusade just due to being fanatics of The Light, thus fodder fully willing to carry out the will of The Light in the afterlife.
Cameolands zzzzzzz
Benedictis Voss did nothing wrong!
That is pretty weird, I guess he would have been went to 'vampire land' but in 10 years they said 'No he can't be redeemed?' No? Time doesn't matter apparently in the shadowlands and it takes eons for souls to move on, Blizzard said this and by the look of it, with Uther and all time goes at the same pace. This justseems like another insertion of 'LIGHT EVIL BRRRRRRR'With Revendrath working with the Maw it can make sensebut irrideemable, as someone who dives into WOW lore, they can be redeemed.
Could be that he was sent to Revendreth, but his psychotic fanatical mind made him refuse redemption and was sentenced to the maw.
Could have been tossed in there by denathrius as favor to the jailer.
Now Blizzard; Show me where you're hiding Dar'khan.
People wondering how Voss ended up in the maw, we need to remember Revendreth is completely full of corrupt sycophants who would gladly condemn any soul (or exhaust them of anima) -- we see this all the time in-game. This isn't some attitude that spontaneously happened one day, it's been happening for years and years while Denathrius' corruption grew.
