If you're visiting family, you're risking the virus spreading among family anyways. Now you'll be able to raid instead of listening to your uncle whose name you forget rant about something ignorant - you can make mythic prog instead of taking care of your wine-aunt who's 3 boxes into cheap white wine! Sounds like a win.
now i am not typically a hater, but blizzard has proven to be a point - that maybe, they need to release the game in November to note their profits... and 23rd is er the latest possible date.. '-.-besides, Christmas can be celebrated in a close family circle (and it will be) - if i decided to play wow on 24th (and i won't), we might meet in the hm where actually? the maw seems too harsh oooor maybe not. xdkind of afraid this argument beats any other presented. Beause if (the local) Santa prefers playing wow in the Christmas night instead of arranging the children presents, -
Seriously, if you delay this content more it will annoy 99% of the people, because only 1% of the players play the world race, it is RIDICULOUS and ABSURD that by the smallest group they affect everyone
We try to except when we aren't trying.
i am looking forward to raiding over Xmas, i am so happy for this, YAY BLIZZ!
I think delaying a week is pretty good, Mythic Launch is the 29th. Seems fine by me.
For majority of people holidays this year don't mean gatherings. For many it means loneliness. Having a good game content available to be played is a good thing. WoW community always finds something to cry about. And it's the first raid of expansion, chances are the top 10 race will be finished during the first reset.
very weak reasoning on Ions part imho.
meh my personal opinion, be an adult and realise while yes you would love to raid your real life and family matters more (assuming you can safely visit them)if your guild absolutely demands you be raid ready on day dot of raid opening then it's a wake up call on how you want to prioritise your life
Wow. You figured it out! Every issue that everyone has would be solved by this one simple change!Come on. There would be people howling no matter what they did short of go back in a time machine to last week and release a 100% bug free, perfectly balanced, best expansion in WoW history
World first raiders aren't affected by this. The race will be done in 10 days or less. Heroic raiders obviously won't be affected either. Heroic raid takes between 1 and 10 days to clear. Mythic progress guilds are the ones who will be affected because they will have to take a break after first 2 weeks. Overall it's definitely not worth delaying the game so that some mythic guilds could progress for couple more weeks in a row
Would postponing the date again even change anything for the mythic raiders though? Won’t they then have to spend the holidays gearing their characters?I couldn’t be happier with this early release as it finally gives me something to look forward to during this messy year.
At least they don't delay the game 3 times. :)
Holidays are when everyone get's to get over the guilt of how infrequently they speak to each other or see each other throughout the year by spending six hours with their entire family for two random days out of the year cuz Jesus and reasons. Also, u should play the game with a hot coffee next to you instead of bringing your 60yo grandma over for covid this year.
These dates seem early from when the expansion launches. I want to go slow and experience everything deeply. I feel like dates so soon will either make players feel rushed or accidentally skip details instead of enjoying the story and worlds. Sad.I kinda want the expansion to last a long time and have everything paced/spaced out as long as possible. These kinds of dates ruin that
