I took the route to Draenor using AAP and got my garrison, but switch to Legion because of the rep bonus still being active. I was able to use AAP before when in that zone at the right level, so I'm surprised that's not still available. Please give us the option to change expansions soon! I read somewhere in here that it's an option that is being worked on. With rep bonuses still active in Legion and BFA, some may prefer those over WoD, even for speed leveling.
I've tried it but there's a window that keeps insisting that I have to go to Stormwind to set a hearthstone, and I'm already doing BfA content... The Custom Path window can't be closed. etc. Seems pretty rushed TBH.
It may be the better option for the route, but the UX is not up to par. If you don't start at the beginning of a section, good luck getting to where you are quest wise.
Just finished the route: 10-50 Horde path: Orgrimmar > Wod Intro > Frostfire Ridge > Gorgrond > Talador > Spires of Arak. Ended up at at level 48 with 98% to 49.
