LMAO
I love the gatekeeping
Good job nerfing items people were forced to use due to your inability to properly scale the fights DESPITE the amounts of feedback you got from the PTR.. Once again the general playerbase gets a big ol' F YOU from Blizzard so long as the oh so precious elite minority get their shinies. And no before anyone asks, I don't want FREE sets, I don't mind a challenge but I do mind being promised "a fun experience" and getting one which simply is NOT fun due to crap scaling making it impossible for me to do without jumping through Chromie-time shaped hoops and spending thousands upon thousands of gold for consumables. This event should've brought players BACK, not drive them away again which is exactly what is happening already.. I was happy to see people come back for the Mage Tower only to see them rage and leave again in utter disappointment.
After deleting by hotfix the only way hunter survivals could beat their challenge without appealing for specific gear & absurd rng (the nine spear too low % or im cursed, maybe both) i completely predicted this. There is no way they are going to let people make at least possible some challenges with specific classes. I dont want nerfs in encounters (it would only be an overall fix and challenge wouldnt exist), just balance classes only in this content, there are specs & classes that arent working properly.I say all of this because yeah, this is a hotfix that it should have been done really before, but limiting even more the resources isnt a help until we get hotfixes for classes. I think i got why some ppl complain about borrowed power since you can see how important it is here.
This is stupid
I'm just sitting here laughing my ass off at the fact that this has turned out to be even harder than the Legion version and yet they refused to give out the original reward. What a piss poor joke of a decision.
Just another evidence that there are no humans making these decisions at Blizzard but instead bots.
I feel like the comparisons people are making for current MT and Legion MT aren't entirely adequate...unless I'm mistaken on how Legion MT works, you could use artifact weapons and legendary items even at it's release. While it was incredibly challenging (at first), you were allowed access to specific systems that changed and defined class mechanics. Items that don't exist currently in the game as anything but stat sticks. The way current classes are set up (and tuned) around the current Shadowlands systems. A class might get a buff or a nerf dependent on how certain abilities interact with legos and soulbinds. Instead of classes being well rounded and the SL systems acting as additions to their toolkit, many classes/specs are left feeling incomplete without those systems. The real irony is that many Legion legendary effects were made into SL legendaries - so you can't even use legendaries that were accessible in that time period.I don't want the Mage Tower to be a cakewalk, but it would be nice if it weren't a reflection of the game's inherent flaws in class design.
Well we did want a nerf, be careful what you wish for?
off topic but GL to yall on the Mage Tower, Finally beat it on my birthday for BM hunter also not bragging but GL cause that crap had me cussing at myself n the game.
Guess I'll just mark the calendar, wouldn't want to be subscribed during a pointless month of 0 interesting or meaningful content after all.I mean, I haven't even logged on for more than two hours total this week anyway when I actually did have something I could do that's challenging, so I guess I'll just save it for next June or whatever.
