From the side-by-side comparison, I'd prefer the Left one to be honest. Maybe slightly smaller on some parts of the item details.
i prefer the old one tbh, though i understand why people wanted it changed and the new one fits the theme of the game much better.
As previous post said, I find sans-serif (left one) to be more readable. Maybe serif fonts add some flavour to the text, yet it's clearly less visible to me.
Saw ZERO critique towards the item text font in your inventory, but rather the font of the items on ground. If that hasn't changed, then Blizzard totally missed the mark.
Left is FAR BETTER.
Why is the right picture so blurry? It’s not really a fair comparison.
Left is ..better..
I vastly prefer the new one, this was a lil' complaint of mine during the beta. The older one on the left really didn't do it for me - almost immersion-breaking. Yes, it's more easily readable at a glance, but it just felt wrong, and with the one on the right I can still easily read everything without issue. Much better, imo.
new one is quite blurry
Can use better judgement once we see proper resolution comparison
Sorry for the blurry "new image", it didn't come out any better during this week's livestream. :(
Definitely prefer the old one better. The. We is harder to read and just doesn’t look good at all. Give me some Avante!
Left is way better wtf
From those two images only, I prefer the left. But why not just allow players the choice? Stick a couple of typeface and font scaling options in as accessibility settings, everyone wins.
Be nice if both were available with the left one being an accessibility option for those who have trouble with more Diablo themed font
