Good change, Darkmoon Faire made it too easy to max professions.
This is awful. I doubt it was intended, but possibly pushed aside for the time being (or, at least, I hope)+5 points to your lowest or current profession tier isn't anything 'haxxorz' worthy. It just eased getting a few points in, especially at something like 298/300 or 72/75 and all your recipes are grayed out. Without this, I legitimately can't see myself maxing out anything but gathering professions now heh ;;I really think it should stay as it was - just because I really can't see what was so problematic about it in the first place. I'm not a fan of the profession changes with BFA in general, but this is just... Really dumb
With this logic the leveling buff should not work past level 60 and the rep buff with only reputations with vanilla.
well, Blizzard finally decided to tell idiotic stories about their own dumb fail. Every1 here understand this is problem cos of "separation". Because archeology works fine. But they are think every1 around them completly dumb. Also about professions. My Enchating have EVERYTHING at 125lvl. No new receipts or stars for them. I knew absolutly everything at 125. But my max is 160. Can blizzard explain what a point to lvl 35 points of professions that gives me NOTHING? Engeneering also broken to the hell.
I'd like Blizzard to stop removing content from us! Yes, this is an issue, not a "feature". Despite what they want to play this off as, it was a piss poor decision. Just fix it as other comments have stated to be awarded to the current expansion professions or towards the previous un-maxed expansion. Heck, an expansion of your choice would be even better! You know player freedom, good content, and all that... And please do it sooner rather than later because it's a constant reminder every month that Blizzard doesn't seem to care about their player base or providing a quality unbugged game.
I'm not necessarily bothered by this change but I don't remember it being announced prior. They really need to make these changes clear before they happen, even if they know the playerbase will have an overwhelmingly negative reaction to them. It just makes it worse for them to sneak these changes in.
Ah yes, I can see how someone could exploit doing skill ups from darkmoon faire to quickly grind professions for free. No one should be allowed to max a profession in two and a half years, that would be absurdly fast and unfair to players who worked hard!
have a cry, its 5 points, please stop whining
Another reason to quit until classic
"While this is an intended change we are looking to improve this experience in a future patch."Well, ^&*! us, right? Who the &*!@ cares about us players? I mean, it worked fine before and there is absolutely 0 reason as to why this is a thing. Blizz, you *!@#ed up hard.First it's taking away LFGWQ, then you take away our auto-invite option, then you introduce random ass sharding, (Guildy and I are in the same area but can't see each other even though neither of us joined a group, and we are both on the same Mode, yeah.. Makes total sense...) Then *!@#ing herbs and ore stuck INSIDE of boulders and underground making them unreachable AND making leveling our professions even harder, and now this Bull!@#$?Blizz, who hurt you as a child? Was it your uncle?... @#$% off ya ^&*!s.
Or it could give BFA skill ups only if you ..... have BFA professions. If you're level 20, it would skill up what you had.Why get rid? Its once a month. People aren't overusing.
Just let us choose which expansion profession branch to put the five points in.
