Man, the environmental team goes all out on stuff like this. I hope we'll see more of it in future expansions, because it's AWESOME.
I loved the backdrops on Argus, and they've used them beautifully again here. I'm also a little wary of them. One of the foremost reasons I love Warcraft so much is it's really a world. You can just go on, endlessly. I'd hate it if they started trying to sell zones through backdrops instead of real, explorable areas.(Particularly considering how good they've got at making explorable areas interesting -- I find something new in Boralus every week.)But here and on Argus they absolutely sell me on an experience that would've probably fallen short, or not been possible at all, any other way. I like that.
Huh, looks both really damn freaky, and yet, so damn awesome. Also, looks like the Void-Hounds are finally getting a model update
Lovely. I remember the Black Empire art from chronicles part 1 and how nice it would be to see it in game.
N'Zoth will pay dearly!
The biggest issue I have is the background art. Sure it looks nice, but it looks like a damn painting on a wall, not apart of the game world (like Teldrassil since being burnt)

You said it perfectly, have the same feeling about it :3
Looks cool but the sky is too bright IMO it feels like a sunrise and that isnt really fitting for the idea FOR ME. Enviroment is flawless tho.
The backgrounds look glorious, but yeah they do look more like art (like the big back drops you used to get in Hollywood films) instead of blending into the game.I also hope we get a void hound mount soooooonnn.
