I'd jump on anima whine bandwagon, but since most of stuff for anima is just cosmetics or convenience - it's okay. Might need to look into anima rates before 9.1 tho, because besides vacuuming WQs for anima you get !@#$ all for participating in pve/pvp content.
Why the Anima is hard to get? Ofcourse because we're into a draught of Anima.
Who cares about souls if there is no anima available? Where to find those THOUSANDS of anima? Personally I don't several hours on daily basis to do EVERYTHING.
Thanks for this I suppose. However, I think I speak for everyone when I say we don't need more souls, we need more anima.I know Anima is supposed to be this rare resource, though I can't understand how anyone can already have like 15k anima or more. Without grinding a lot everyday, which is sooo "fun".
I think the fact that while reaching 60 the first time at launch, we had plenty of anima to start upgrading and unlocking things, and it felt good. Souls being the thing timegating the unlocks felt okay. But now we realize that the anima was not as abondant as we tought. I agree with most that anima rewards are disappointing right now, especially with not even the possibility of improving that the way renown improved souls collection. Unlocking most anima cosmetic rewards feels unreachable without sinking way to much time into the game, and I'm starting to give up on expecting to do so at one point. It's even more disappointing that it's stuff from your own covenant, so it feels really bad for all of this to be that unreachable. I hope they improve that in the coming weeks.
They srsly have to increase the Anima earned. This is ridiculous.
They had cut anima amount in previous patch ! usually i was getting 1 k from world quests, but last week there was several days where i was getting only max 500 anima for doing all possible world quests... Last week, there was a lot of reputation world quests. And after patch on the first day, ravendreath had only 3 world quests available to complete !
All those Souls and no Anima... :( I spent my Anima on Upgrades for some Covenant Setpieces becaus M+ won't drop sh** for me. Welp. The WQs are also so freaking tedious... take so much, for so little. Bosses and Daily Heroics only give you 35 Anima, which is nothing compared to the amount of time you have to sink into this. It really is not fun at all.
How about we get increased anima drops instead of more souls. I don't have the time nor dedication to farm 1k anime per day when the amounts you get per activity are lower than what a pawn shop would pay me for a fake Rolex watch.
Who will ever bother 'wasting' anima on cosmetics or healing troops? Cosmetics are not being removed from the game, at all, some aren't THAT GOOD looking, and I've stopped healing troops as I saw that they already heal fast enough for the frequency I check them (ofcourse if you send them in missions 3+ times per day you're doing something 'wrong'). Mission table I'd recommend you not doing the campaign ones (unless on your main) but focus mainly on the anima ones (yeah they give few but help cover the cost of the other ones) and XP ones (one XP one gives 2-9 levels depending on the level of the follower). Not even doing Soul Ash/Stygia on my main anymore, or gear (except weapons or jewely ones).
The largest differences in anima are caused by covenant adventures. Assuming 100% coverage of mission table (and NEVER healing troops), Nf and Necrolords are able to easily gain 500-1000 anima per day just from adventures on the companion app. Kyrian is able to barely break even and Venthyr adventures drain anima (approx 500/day).

I haven't done any sanctum upgrade because I wasted all my anima buying gear upgrades. And anima is way to dificult to obtain, once you have done all the anima WQ you might aswell start leveling another alt.
Nah I rather PvP
The constant Anima grind will probably be the reason why I might just stop playing the game. What is the point in increasing our soul count every other week when Anima is being drip-fed to us? Upgrades, transmogs, mission table... - all using the same currency you just don't get enough of. At least replace some item prices for cosmetics with Gold. That I can at least get on a daily basis by selling gray items from the Calling crates, which also don't contain any Anima.
I'm Kyrian so the mission table is out. I have nowhere near enough to unlock tier 3 and only tier 2 on one thing. I don't do all the WQs because the rewards aren't worth it, and I know they will add a catch up mechanic later. I went through grinding this junk in Legion only for it to be meaningless a few months later, and I felt like I had wasted all those many hours. I won't ever do that again in this game.
With the amount of anima i get in a week, i'll never reach a point where I have used all of my souls
