I just got this mount when I logged on today. My battle.net launcher showed a notification of a free gift - and this was it. Unfortunately I didn't read why I got it - I have not purchased anything Blizzcon related.
Can confirm, this was a gift for 6 months of game time.
DOES IT WATER WALK? IF NOT ITS STUPID AND NOT WORTH IT!
Okay, I'm pretty mad about that pet now. Was hoping that we will get an updated skin for rogue pet someday (why toucan instead of parrot in the first place?) and now it turns out that we need to pay for it :D. Even calling him Crackers is like saying - "Ok rogues you had demo version now pay for a full version!"This strategy of releasing some features with less effort and then "fixing" it with purchases is just sad.Blizz, at least add the whistle/perch feature to this one to make it a little bit worth the money ;)
I'd like to be able to buy the mount by itself since i already pay for my wow time in 6 month intervals.
The mount is received by paying for 6-months of gametime. I have the 6-month subscription and just received the mount as a gift in Battle.net.
I got the Dreadwake mount for buying 6 month sub.
Looks cool, just saw it in game.I'm curious as to how long the 'deal' is active for. I don't know what limited time usually means with Blizzard.
I remember someone saying he wants a flying ship when saw the Jaina enterint Lordaron cinematic. Well, here you go, friend!
Lavindathar it's till 31th of october. Or so I heard.
Blizzard going back to their pre-Legion behavior...who cares about content, class/spec balance, etc....whatever...here is some shiny mount and pet for money because we still don't have enough...

yes yes people are mad about buying a mount with real money, But Im more curious about the mounts flavor text, "kraken faced god of the deeps" so is it a N'zoth powered mount? and the visual FX the the bottom of the boat remarkably resembles the tidesage's blessing that the kul'tiran fleet is known for.. Another thing i like about the mount is that it reminds me of Jaina's ship in the siege of lorderon cinematics. and i like to think that it's water pushing the mount to make it a flying mount since the water FX is still there when you're flying, but it's probably tidesage magics
Disapointed it wont let you sail/water walk... :/ So a ship that flies faster then it is sailing is still weird. I know we jumped into the next league with Jaina floating ships etc but at least hers could sail also :P
This feels oddly similar to last year's Blizz Con Alliance mount..
