The Rallying War Banner Sounds Cool. :)
Separate rewards for each faction? That's gonna be a lot of grinding >.<
I don't really see anything here that's going to make me revisit emissaries. Ah well, we all outgrow WoW at some point, I guess.
Reaaally hope the chance of these drops isn't as low as it was in Legion. It was tolerable in Legion because you had rep from the mission tables and the tokens were account-wide, so you could offset the bad drop rate if you had bad luck by having multiple alts. This time, though, rep seems like it'll be much slower to obtain.Plus I don't understand the reasoning behind taking mounts off the loot table just to replace them with other collectables many players want just as much. All they need to do is add a coin to each cache and let us buy the items - or even a random one - every tenth box or so. Or even more. Just some way to make each box feel like progression instead of RNG. One of the reasons reputation rewards work is because it feels like a progression bar - at Exalted you can buy these items. This just makes reputation a grind to get to a point where a further grind will give you a chance at something you may want.Honestly, I'd rather they just had large chunks of gold, azerite, resources, doubloons or warfront tokens, but if they're gonna add unique collectables a progression system would be so appreciated.
rep tokens for sea fairer's coins is nice.
2 toys vs 5 toys. Never change Blizzard.
Honestly, the only reason I liked the Legion paragon rewards was the chance of a mount. I was looking forward to what the BFA factions would offer. Unless the mounts are being kept secret, I am seriously disappointed. Zero incentive to farm WQs, for me at least.
These rewards are lame and don't incentivize me to bother doing emissaries on my main... not to mention paragon should have been in BfA since launch. 0/10.
I don't really feel much incentive to grind out paragon boxes for toys. I would if they had a chance to contain mounts like back in Legion. I feel they missed a big opportunity to get people to go out and do WQs.
The only thing I REALLY want is Meerah's jukebox... but im maining alliance in bfa... dangit!
Very underwhelmed with these rewards. There is no reason to have separate rewards and have to go through that insane grind. And then not even have comparable rewards between the 2 factions.
This is the way to do it imo. Give some rewards so that continuing to gain rep isn't pointless, but don't make the rewards so good that we feel compelled to grind like the Legion mounts. It's better to have mounts purchasable at exalted rep as they are now.
This should have been at launch, after one month of grinding reputation and getting gear from WQ, there was NO POINT in doing WQ anymore except for those people who wanted more AP.THINK AHEAD BLIZZARD!Quote:Among those rewards, supply chests also have a small chance of having a rare reward, usually a pet or a toy, different for each of the factions. Here we go with these 0.0001% drop rate and more RNG. You need vendors to sell the same items for those people who will never loot the things. After 0-15 or 20 and not getting anything, do you actually expect me to keep grinding for that 0.0001% loot?
So glad they understand the mounts doesn't go in paragon system, good work there blizz!, the mounts at least for me is something I obtain with exalted (like every reputation was before legion). Now, i don't bother toys or pets but definitly gonna get paragon chests to see what I get.
Yeah, at first I was disappointed they are adding collectibles to Paragon again, as I thought they had learned how annoying that is for a lot of collector-style players. However, I am kind of glad they are doing this as it is probably the final thing needed to get me to stop playing. I only log in for a few minutes as it is, and now that rep is so hard to come by and rng seems to be more present than ever, this is a great point to stop and move on...
Those toys should be BOE, No way in heck I am going to level up someone from the opposite faction and all that rep to exalted and then again for those chests. Why did horde get 6 toys and alliance only get 3? Really hard to make 4 and 4?HORDE BIASED ONCE AGAIN. Typical Blizzard Staff.
Lackluster rewards, but then again now I won't feel compelled to grind them until the end of time because of a few mounts that refuse to drop (looking at you Highmountain moose, Stormheim dragon, and Argus elekks).
I hope they let the Honourbound/7th Legion paragon boxes have a chance of dropping the enemy faction's paragon rewards. That way I won't need to be upset about there being a harsh imbalance in the amount and type of rewards between factions, especially since going both factions in this expansion is tedious. I'm sure Horde mages/scribes are horribly upset about the BoP technique, and any collector will be horribly upset about the vastly superior amount and type of toys in the Horde boxes.
