Remeber folks... trees are not a save place to hide under LOL.I am sure there is hiden reason why Sylvanas turn into serial killer, and I dont belive her story will end as a Garosh 2.0 . All this is just to make fight between horde and alliance. I feel that at the end of that story, thinks will turn into a suprice. And just reminder - this is not a "World of lovecraft" but a "WARCRAFT" !
Personally I dont expect Sylvannas to bite it. It would just be sloppy writting on blizzard's part to off yet another one. Voljin clearly saw something about her. I think that is far more important.
Blizzard has made compelling storytelling their enemy...that is a war they cannot win.
She is NOT horde. She is EVIL. As everyone can see.. She can NOT be my warchief. She has NO honor.
Not surprising. Called it.So many cheering responses confirm, the Horde was always the evil side, even though a lot of people had their head in the sand about it.
Just throwing my thoughts out there. This is awesome, Sylvanas is a badass. Take her away and make her a raid boss, or keep her as warchief either way she's still cool.
Dudes and Dudettes, you all seriously need to chill. We do have another Warbringers cinematic and what if it ties into this one? I find it funny that Delaryn Summermoon knew exactly what buttons to push with Sylvie. I hope there is more to this than Sylvie being triggered by Summermoon. Christie Golden said there was so much more to be told, so until then maybe some folks should chill out and go turn on War Mode. And no, I don't play Horde and I am not a Sylvie fan.
Two things:Yogg-Saron planted Saronite near Icecrown Citadel that Sylvanas FELL ON in the short story Edge of Night. For some reason, Blizzard retcons that detail all of sudden? Really?Nathanos didn't react to Sylvanas' order which brings to a Nazgrim moment that he realizes she's villain, but will still stay by her side. But that is just me folks.
I imagine Vol'jin is probably spinning in his urn right about now.
Ok, so I have never been someone that comments, but I just thought I'd say my say to get it off my chest.I have been playing Horde forever. My main reason was and maybe still is because I fell in love with her(Sylvanas) story in Warcraft 3.When I played through her story I felt for her and when we did those dungeons in WotLK with by her side I was really happy that she would have her revenge at last. However sad I was when she threw herself off ICC, I was also happy that she survived. From there I anticipated eagerly what they would do with her character. I do understand her actions to a certain extent, but to be honest I think they could have done more with her. She could have actually been morally grey and Saurfang could have acted as her anchor. Together they could have lead the Horde and to me that would have been a cool dynamic.I do realise that this is still the beginning of the BFA story, but they have done things with her character even before this that has really disappointed me.To be honest, unless the writers pulls something brilliant out of their butts, I think the better ending for her character would have been if she died at the foot of ICC. At least then I would have remembered her fondly. This isn't going to make me do something drastic like change faction or quit the game, though. :-)
Think. Please Think. The Horde has never been the "vil" faction, it's been the "dramatic" faction for years, and this expansions brings us one more drama.Being Horde is hard. It's always been. Will be again. But don't be a fool by thinking there's no brain or spirit in the Horde. Some people remember bad times. Some will bring new hopes in BFA.For sure. For the Horde !
Honestly, there's nothing morally grey in this development. What's more, they completely flipped Sylvanas character around. She had her agenda since Vanilla, true, but she was the one claiming she didn't want others to suffer what she had. The reaction to what Delaryn told her is on the polar opposite: you'll all suffer what I have, there's no hope for you. The only justification I can find for that, in a writing perspective, is that our long-time supposition of Old Gods/Void Lords influence over Sylvanas is true. Other than that, it all looks to me like shoehorning justifications to keep the faction war aspect relevant in the story instead of keeping it as a separate competitive aspect of the game.
