Lol the horde one gets progressively more spikey. X3Tbh, i like the alliance one better. That gold and white one (tier 2) is downright sexy
Any chance on adding an upright orc in the armor views from now on? Might give more dynamic feel. Just a thought for that variety.
I really like the designs and color schemes, but the shoulders are just unbearable at that size. One pauldron is almost the same width as the orc himself, for crying out loud! I know they're not going to look this huge on all races and genders, but it's just so disappointing to keep seeing these incredibly detailed and cool sets be ruined for certain races because of the scaling of the shoulder pieces. I was really looking forward to the Mag'har orcs and straight-backed males but it's hard to be excited when I already know that I can't stand how 99% of the shoulders in the game look on both male and female orcs - which is a real shame because the shoulders are usually one of the coolest pieces of a set. I'm really hoping for Mag'har monks because at least most of those sets still look good and appropriate for the class without the oversized shoulders. (Imo, bulky races like orcs actually look a lot better in more "minimal" leather armor and it seems much more appropriate for agile classes like rogues and monks.)I know plenty of people like the massive shoulders so I'm not gonna be That Guy and say that they all need to be shrunk down, but it would be nice if we had the option someday, especially given all the other new customization options we're getting in BfA. Maybe engineers can invent a Shoulder-Shrinker 2000 or something?
Cool armor. But I just need Stromgarde armor and Stromgarde tabard to go fight for Arathi.
*SHRILL PTERODACTYL SCREECH*I NEED THOSE ALLIANCE SHOULDERS/BELT/GLOVES/BOOTS ON TIER 3!*insert sheldon breathing frantically into a paper bag gif*Oh, I DO hope we get a blue/gold version later on!
oo, I like the alliance set, especially 3rd tier.
The white alliance sets.... Yes. Me like.
I'd wear the low tier on my alliance alts; the armor is sleek and beautifully designed while the more "advanced" models look ornate to the point of being clumsy and would only be suitable for parade duty or display on an armor rack. The horde stuff is suited for orcs and tauren and will look utterly ridiculous on any other race, goblins especially will vanish under those monstrosity shoulders. Granted the whole xpac is themed around classic Warcraft so the designers have at least captured those iconic looks. With that thought in mind it'd be nice if they'd add a complete set of heritage or original armor for all races along with a way to build them similar to collecting armor scraps in alternate Draenor.
It seems to me alone that there is nothing visually interesting in this clothing?
And as was predicted, the cape from the concept art will be a concept art only. Maybe someday in the future... :/
The Alliance plate looks really awesome but I can tell right away that I'll be using the Tier 2 version.
He's more shoulder pad than orc now. Twisted and bent by the sheer weight of the bloody things!
Its about time the Alliance won something & I say that as a Hordie. Those silvery white sets are absolutely gorgeous.
WOW guys! I can't believe that male Orcs have such HUGE shoulder armor. And that the Horde set is spikey and the Alliance set is smooth! WTF Blizz!
The return of Shoulder armor bigger than the toon!Immersion is now surrealist.I know, Beta build.Still, that is just obscene and jarring. The Orc?IF he raised both arms above his head in a traditional ,"For the Horde!" Pre battle pump up chant? His head would pop like a green zit.
"This set may be unfinished as the BlizzCon concept art and datamined icons show dynamic over-the-shoulder flowing capes, which could take extra time for Blizzard to implement."
I really like the Alliance Tier 3 set, however the 1 and 2 aren't great. The Horde sets all look impressive. The Alliance stuff needs more work on the first 2 tiers in my opinion
