My big problem with WoW in any expansion is LEVELING and have to buy or win gear to match ur level andthe bad rewards u get in the raid and dungeon drops from level 85-90! Ya I know level 85 is top now but look when CATAcame out everyone who was hardcore like me got there main and alts up to an 85 fast and then a few months later CATA was just blau especially in raiding. ICC was the best raid there was in this game and they should have done the same in CATA.I suggest dumping the leveling frenzy and just have ur main and alts get gear by much better quests and raid and dungeondrops. I mean right now u get great drops in duns and raids but junk in quests and BLIZZARD only let this happen in patch432 because EVERYTHING we get as far as gear will be obsolete when we play the LEVELING GAME in PANDALANDbecause 85 level gear will not cut it for levels 86-90. DUMP THE LEVELING stuff and just have great drops to gear uplike they do in Battlefield 3 and COD-MW3 etc.
WoW =/= an FPS. It should not try to be like one.
I unsubbed to WoW a few months ago. Cataclysm was just... too many people rage quitting over a wipe, too many inexperienced tanks that just can't bring themselves to CC. Anyway, it was mostly due to boredom. After 4 years you just get burned out. WoW is just going where no other MMO has gone before and the road is unmapped. You just can't keep something at the top of the list for the better part of a decade. I'm starting to want something else to rise up and take the throne, even if it's by blizzard.

Each year my guild mates start playing less from around December until February. Only this year SW:TOR came out and a lot left and just never came back. (There was also interest in other games like Skyrim and Battlefield 3 also). With half our raid missing we didn't raid for a while and there were quite a few failed attempts to put raids together. After that people started losing interest, not wanting to recruit pugs or run half guild runs each week. When Dragon Soul was released, my guild ran the 5 mans for about a week and the raid finder & regular DS half a dozen times, got bored and went to play other games again. I think they needed to make a better build up to the Deathwing encounter, with more small patches along the way to keep people interested. As it is the Darkmoon Faire update was just another dull daily quest grind. I don't think many of my guild mates will still be playing once Diablo 3 comes out. I know that most if not all are very interested in playing Guild Wars 2. So if it is at all successful it's highly likely most of us will not be returning to wow in any major capacity for a while. I'm seriously questioning whether it's worth buying MoP because I've found in the past that the only real reason I play WoW at all Is to play with my mates. Cataclysm has been my least favourite expansion so far. I understand that in order to add flying mounts to Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms the entire game world had to be reworked. I also understand that it made sense to the developers to rework a lot of the 1-60 content at the same time. The only problem is, doing this obviously took up lots of time, time that could've been spent on making a really great end-game experience for players instead. Cataclysm featured 5 raids, if you include Baradin Hold it would be 6 (more to be released possibly?), flying mounts in Azeroth, Archaeology, Worgens, Goblins, new race class combinations, remade zones, new / changed quests and guild advancement. So on paper it looks ok... yet I still think it's been the worst expansion yet.
