TL;DR: let the WW use the bugs so they can top the meters. My opinion: revert back SEF back to MoP playstyle to avoid such bugs.
I've been the only monk in the raid-team of our guild for many raid-tiers, simply because they weren't popular. And I actually liked it. Everyone else had multiple people with the same class/spec. But I was The Monk. Always felt a bit special. Now we suddenly have 3-4 monks running around every day. They took my special warm feeling away.Silly things aside though, I'm happy to see there are finally some more monks around. And I agree with the needed changes. FoF always felt like the ability that blows your opponents away, yet you won't see that back in the damage nowadays. A buff there would be awesome.
It's not rocket science, If you don't want to play tank, change class
While I play I keep a text document of issues, or what I perceive to be, with the spec as well as potential fixes, ranging in size and touching upon the different parts of the spec, so it's often times more disappointing than it is frustrating that a lack of action is taken (or expedient action if it's a beneficial bug) to where above all else I just want Blizz to have a more hands-on, direct approach to the problems that has been continuously plaguing the spec.Like a passive that works off of Haste or Crit (e.g. increased cooldown reduction rate on rotational abilities, chance to hit a second time for 1/3 of the damage, Tornado Kicks, Combo Breaker frequency, old Tiger Strikes, SCK reducing the cost of the next Tiger Palm, Tiger Palm generating an additional resource, chance equal to for auto attacks proc Combo Breaker and Dance of Chi-Ji, etc) would potentially help with scaling concerns in the long run; nip it in the bud approach.
Babs, you should link your patreon (if mods oblige). If every ww gives you 5 bucks you would be...with 50 bucks. It's something.
I agree with everything except bringing Tigereye Brew back, it was a terrible mechanic that made you have to build your burst instead of just pressing it like every other class does, it was okay in pve because you would always have it by the time you got to the boss, but it was terrible in arenas
It would be nice if Fists of Fury would apply mark of the crane to the targets it hit. It could be like it applies the stacks over the full channel so if you interrup it, you will have less than max stack. We could prepare our spinning crane aoe by starting with fists and in m+ you can bring spare chi from previous pack to be able to start with fists.
It's important to notice that it's basically impossible to reach the max stack of Mark of the Crane right now, so it's basically useless that Spinning Crane Kick has the cap of MotC to 6, since you can barelly maintain 4. I was running some dungeons yesterday and even with large pulls I could barelly hold 4 stacks from how fast they drop, normally only being able to maintain 3. They keep "fixing" monk bugs that make our spec perform bad, but when they create or dont fix a whole lot of other bugs, they just leave it like that, and it pisses me off so bad
