sry for a little offtophttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XHTML scroll a bit to relationship with html xD enjoya!
Heh, I know HTML and some Java but I'm of course nowhere near qualified, as much as I'd love to work on the team. :P
This seems like a perfect position for me- I have several years of professional experience with PHP/XHTML/CSS/MySQL (proficient with Javascript, but not an expert). I am a Google Certified Analytics Expert and am a pro with database security & optimization. However, I won't be applying because of the lack of salary and labor (work hours, mainly) details.Becoming a great developer takes a lot of time and commitment. I know from personal experience to stay away from companies who expect top-level developers without providing any hint of how they can compensate you for your effort.Basically, what I'm trying to say is that with the job descriptions you've posted, you shouldn't expect to find quality developers.
elbrian, feel free to discuss those details with Malgayne and the rest. I am sure there are reasons not to post details here.
Salary is private information, between you and your employer. You are welcome to submit your application and discuss benefits with our HR person if and when you are asked for an interview. If its not to your liking, you can turn down the offer, but I think you're putting cart before the horse.EDIT: lol I fail at cliches.
For the record, it was this type of posting that I responded to to get hired 2.5 years ago :o
We're more than happy to clarify the job posting wherever possible. To be honest, we're leaning toward a full-time position, but if we found two really awesome part-time candidates, we wouldn't rule them out right away. There are several factors that will go into how we actually fill this position. As for the questions about salary, come on people. I know some of you probably aren't experienced with companies that hire salaried employees, but if you aren't working hourly, don't expect salary to enter the conversation as part of the job posting, and don't expect to know what your co-workers make, either. This isn't some ruse; it's how companies hire and employ salaried employees. There are a lot of factors that affect what salary you might earn. ;)
Damn... I quality for everything, but they both have "Fluency in English" which I think I am not, or am I? >.>

My gf is a web developer, I wonder how the pay is at Wowhead? Currently shes working for Caterpillar, would be interesting to see if Wowhead could compete with that caliber of competition :P
