From all the expansions i've played TBC has been so far the most enjoyable for me. Unlike the rest expansions that i liked a lot at first but then got kinda bored, Outland just sucked me into it. Sure, flying mounts kinda ruined the world pvp experience but the map? Awesome. The instances were great, challenging, the heroic modes were really hard when they launched which was frustrating but very rewarding especially for me cause i mainly played a moonkin and i didn't have cc and that made the instance a lot harder. I also liked the LFG feature of BC, x-realm sure makes it more easy but going with 5 people from your server, wiping and chatting and having fun or ending up ignoring each other, people yelling on general that " x is a ninja" etc. That made me feel like i played a game which was really alive. Instantly teleporting on instances just doesn't work for me, aoe tanking and killing still doesn't work for me. I understand having to CC everything was a pain in the ass and when you played a hybrid ( like me ) it was a mess but the increasing difficulty on simple tasks imo made the game feel really epic. The raids, oh my god. Karazhan? I still remember my first run there, we only got Attumen after 10 tries but still, The music, the bosses, everything felt great. Mag and Gruul were also nice as t4 raids, SSC and TK.. Oh jesus, the feeling, gathering 25 people and slowly progressing, Getting only 2-3 bosses down each raid was so slow and frustrating but at the same time so epic because you had to devote to it. I didn't kill vashj nor KT until further in the expansion but still, watching videos of other guilds killing them was great, i even cheered at them. Hyjal was a great idea but it ended up being an aoe fest. BT though... Still gives me chills when i enter it. Can't talk about Sunwell since i didn't really get further than Brutallus but the thing is that i respected the guilds that managed to progress, never felt like i'm somehow "2nd class citizen", they devoted to the game and made it.Not saying that other expansions were bad but, when you kill the same boss at heroic ( or mythic ) mode, it's kinda boring to me. I'm wondering if i should buy the game and return to the pre-shattered Outland or just quit the game and keep the memory of that place in my mind. Having the same raid on RF,normal,hc,mythic difficulty... i don't know...Long post, always happens when i talk about TBC. Have fun in WoD everyone. ( ^&*!ty english, not even 2nd language )
My favourite expansion would be The Burning Crusade because I thought Outlands looked so cool when I first stepped through The Dark Portal! :)
Being fairly new to Wow I'd have to say Mist of Pandaria. Although as I have leveled up through the different areas I have enjoyed the taste of each past expansion. I also like hearing the stories told by game veterans about how the game ran in the old days. I'm looking forward to experiencing Warlords of Draenor.
My favorite expansion is "Wrath of the Lich King", because it was the expansion that I started playing.I have so many great memories about this moment: playing a new game with my friends, exploring the new features...xD so happy memories *-*'
yo
WoLK was just starting when i first started wow, but cataclysm was my first experience getting hyped up and going to opening night with my friends, definitely unforgettable :)
Each expansion had something to offer, but I just couldn't get into MoP. Very excited about the WoD though, can't wait to see it.
Wrath of the Lich King was, by FAR, my favorite! It was the only expansion that gave me shivers watching the opening cinematic. Arthas was/is my favorite villain, and his personal story was something that you could empathize with, as he was only trying to save his people before being corrupted. <3 It had the best raids, the best dungeons, the most immersive environments and music, and caused the biggest hype ever over a newly implemented class. Also, I would kiss Patchwerk from Naxx for that Faerie Dragon plushie! Blegh! xP
MoP because has new things, better graphics, there are awesome quest and very good playability and Shocking Mounts!.. I love that we can level up till 90 I also really liked but much playability death knight charm me like the king lifeless for their graphics I liked enverdad pandaren by q has an interesting story appears I was much liked the armor paladins and death knights in summarize the best expansion
Probably Wrath. When Cata came out, 60 twinking pretty much died with it's release. Now I got tons of 60s with lots of time spent that's just sitting on my roster.
My Favorite was Wrath. I loved my old frost DK

Cataclism'cus I had a score to settle with Deathwing... since Warcraft 2
Cataclysm is my favorite expansion so far! I am an altaholic and really enjoyed leveling through new zones.
Visuals and story of MoP were fantastic. WotLK was my favorite as i was the most active!
Mists of Pandaria! :D
Every new expansion is my favorite. Each new one tops the last, and offers different experiences. So right now, MoP is my favorite.
WOTLK owns all!
I think my favorite expansion was Cata, I had more time on my hands then and was able to explore every aspect of the content. So yes It was Cata, but I am looking forward to Warlords because now I play the game with a great group of people that add such enjoyment to my playing experience. So my answer may change in a few short days :D.....Ps that plushie is sooooo cute.
Wrath was my favorite by far - I just started raiding at the end of BC and couldn't want to get my hands on more raid content.
