Wrath of the lich king was simply the best, due to the most amazing raids ever. Ulduar and Icecrown Citadel
Wrath of the Lich King was my favourite expansion. It was the first one that really captured me and even made me play end game content. Instead of running around doing silly things :)
Wrath of the Lich King!
my favourite expansion was TBC, because my guild started raiding for the first time in there, i was able to join and we had a lot of fun. But playing the beta, i am tempted to say WoD. It feels good, it feels like old tbc, and i love the fact that we cant fly again. (We have so many land mounts and i hardly used them since wrath and that pandaria let use land mounts again was amazing. You're experiencing the content instead of seeing it. )But yeah, long story short; The Burning Crusade was my favourite expansion :)
wrath of the lich king it was so much fun, cataclysm is a close second
I think it would be Wrath of the Lich King :)
Good luck to all and enjoy wod :)
Wrath of the Lich King has been my favorite so far. Loved all the dungeons and raids, had a wonderful guild to work on guild achievement, etc!
I've only started WoW when MoP lunched, i must say it was a fun experience, Leveling for the first time was very fun as there is so much to explore, so much to achieve. I can't wait to try WoD specially for the better graphics, Dps&Hps numbers reduction, Garrison and many new quest-line to do.
WotlK and all instances of this addon, absolutely.
I'm a Wrath-baby, so I would have to go with Wrath. It opened my eyes to a new kind of gaming experience. I still remember going to Northrend for the first time and going "Holy Cow!" It was also the expansion that introduced me to raiding, as I had no idea what endgame content was about. MoP is a close second.
Wrath of the Lich King. Great PvP, great PvE, great music, great story.
mists of pandaria because of the pet battles
My favorite expansion was cataclysm. The major remodel to azeroth was a fresh change however flying convenience pretty much ruined the atmosphere for the game but it was definetly helpful.I loved firelands as a Raid more so then ICC.
I loved bc, but I think wrath was my favorite, I played the most, enjoyed all of the content, was a huge achivement !@#$%, and just enjoyed wrath completely from start to finish!
My most favorite Expansion must be:Wrath of the Lich King. The feelings that went through that time was just amazing.
Just have to say wowhead is awesome. Blizz is starting to suck though. I simply don't care about Overwatch, Hearthstone, or Heroes of the Storm. I've played wow for 10 years for a reason - it's a damn fine game and I have friends there. Toss-up between and WOTLK/BC.
I liked Wrath the most, the overall feel of it. Plus me being a huge Arthas fanboy :-P
I didn't start plying WoW until just before Pandaria was coming out because I gave in and started playing as part of a birthday present to my boyfriend since he was pestering me to start playing for well over a year. But from all the content that I've played in game, even though it wasn't at content, I like a lot of the Burning Crusades and Wrath of the Lich King expansion stuff. <3
My favorite WoW expansion by far has been The Burning Crusade. A lot of firsts for the game and a lot of firsts for me as a player. The introduction of flight, scrambling to get to 70 to soar around the Outlands... and maybe drop in on the opposing faction for some surprise world PVP. Previously, aerial screenshots of gorgeous landscapes could only be done by a perfectly timed keystroke on a flight path. I had entire photo albums of "WoW photography" from flying around for hours, getting the best framed shots I could. Also, I remember being absolutely terrified of the Fel Reavers in Hellfire Peninsula that would somehow always sneak up on me and could not wait until I could just fly over them at 70.I discovered PvP in The Burning Crusade and subsequently discovered my lust for competition in the arenas when they were introduced. I spent hours with some amazing players who helped mold me into a player who would later go on to obtain the Gladiator title and other PVP achievements. I made a lot of friends, even some very close ones who I still talk to frequently and play WoW and other games with. Actually, one friend I met in Burning Crusade flew across the country this summer to work at my store and start a life in my city!I also learned what it meant to be a raider in that expansion. I went from really not understanding what was going on around me in ZG to working my way up to a raid spot in the top raiding guild on my server. I ended up leading the top guild for almost two more expansions. I fell in love with raiding and being a leader. It truly felt like a job. An important and challenging job, too. There were a lot of people who depended on me and my Officers to make sure strategies were planned, peoples' gear were in check, consumables and special gear were ready for the raid, and even contacting people outside of the game to ensure we'd have the proper raid composition for the night. In all honesty, some of the leadership and managing skills I developed in-game translated directly into my current real life management job. Not to mention the "tough love" attitude of my raiding guild conditioned me to thrive in my job's environment (Think: "Pawn Stars" or "Hardcore Pawn").The Burning Crusade expansion was the first time I experienced guild rivalries and arch nemesis players in the arena and world PvP. The moment when the gates draw up and you see that name hovering above your opponent - a name that represents a superb player. Your heart starts beating a little faster. He's defeated you many times before, but you've got to beat him this match. And after an intense battle and you're finally victorious, you realize you've been clenching your jaw and crushing your mouse with your hand the whole time. The same goes for the last 3% of that server first kill of a difficult boss you and your guild have been throwing yourselves at night after night for a couple of weeks, not knowing for sure how your competition has been progressing on it that night. You've actually got to call out "Don't panic! Keep doing your jobs and stay focused!" to your guild who can't contain their nervousness and excitement over voice comms. Then comes the absolute roar of celebration when you kill it with half the raid lying dead on the ground. But the best reward is your raid members flaunting their shiny new gear or parading around town on the mount that no one on the server has yet. Ahhh, yes, when I think of the Burning Crusade, this is what I think of.While I may never again have the free time to compete and attempt to keep my character and guild among the highest ranked players, I will always remember the sheer excitement that The Burning Crusade brought on for me.
