The Burning Crusade
Mists has been my favorite expansion so far. Blizzard really captured that 'stranger-in-a-strange-land' feeling for me the first time I set foot in The Jade Forest.
Wrath of the Lich King by far was the best exp. IMO
Has to be the Wrath of The Lich King expansion, the lore melded so perfectly to bring together fans of warcraft 3 and world of warcraft such as myself, the loot sets were brilliant and the raids were intense and rewarding. Shadowmourne was the icing on the cake for me though. I love legendary weapons :)
Gotta go with Wrath of the Lich King, it was the first expansion I got to explore endgame content and the Lich King business in Northrend is easily my favorite aspect of this world's story.
Hi, I like WotLK
Wrath of the Lich King is my favorite. Loved the Northrend zones/music and undead-heavy lore. Don't forget about the plague launch event, of course!
Tough one. Wrath is a solid and very close second for me, but I have to give the top slot to BC. The zones and instances had an intensely epic feel to them, and I really enjoyed the content. Wrath was just about as good in those areas (my favourite raid of all time is Ulduar), but what gives BC the edge for me is the armor sets. I found most of the Wrath sets to be fairly mediocre and some, (like that gas-mask t8 hunter helm) were hideous. But BC had great armor sets throughout, and even after all these years, t6 still makes a strong case for being the best-designed armor tier across the board.
My favorite expansion is Cata and MoP because I been playing Fury Warrior for those years and never failed plus I like how its easier to attack other ppl
Wrath of the Lich King was probably my favorite for raiding, but MoP has been absolutely great.
jumping in the burning crusade bandwagon, I played wow since vanilla but it was a friends account, BC was were I managed to get my own account and played what I wanted and how I wanted
My favorite World of Warcraft expansion is "Wrath of the lich king", big fan of warcraft 3 reign of chaos and the frozen throne so can't even think of WOW without lich king, and my all time favorite raid is also from wotlk, the icecrown citadel; every boss in this raid, their dialogue, encounter, strategies are so EPIC. I'm a Death Knight class fan and there is no better looking tier gear for DK than t10, simply awesome.I would really like to quote some of my all time favorite boss dialogue, I cant help it just gone nostalgic :'( 1. BQL - You have made an unwise decision2. Marrowgar - Languish in damnation!3. Sindra - Can you feel the cold hand of death upon your heartCheers ^^
As much as I enjoyed The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King is easily my favorite! Northrend was beautiful, the quest were fun and the raids were challenging and complex!
The Burning Crusade, we were not prepared for such awesomeness!
My favorite expansion was Wrath. I enjoyed the expansion from how the game itself felt while playing it, with combat and the content being quite fun. Also, Ulduar. Ulduar makes the expansion that much better.
The burning crusade.I started wow just after the 40 naxx patch. Needless to say I was a bit behind and had a lot of trouble catching up to aq40 level before tbc hit. TBC was my glory days. I did every fight at a competitive speed, was in a top 100 guild, many of my real life friends teamed up for this expansion, got to warlock tank multiple fights, killed muru prenerf, it had some of my favorite armor sets, attunements I got to do before most, introduced dailies, flying, and arena which was obviously a lot of fun for the first few seasons as a lock. I started wotlk late and struggled to find the magic until I discovered alts, cata's first tier was amazing due to a lot of friends but real life got in the way, mop was bland to me. I may have lost the magic over the years but I am hopeful for what WoD is setup to offer. Thanks for reading.
Burning Crusade. Then WOTK.
I know a 9-year-old who would LOVE that darter! And I wouldn't mind the WoD.
Cataclysm, because Deathwing and FIERY PITS OF LAVA! Not to mention Transmogrification was introduced!
My favorite World Of Warcraft expansion has to be The Wrath Of The Lich King! Here is my reason why it always will be...I started to play WoW in 2010, I was really enjoying the game, there was so much to see and do and so much to take in at once, it really was breathtaking, I could not believe how big the world was in the game, I wanted to see everything there was in the game all at once! I wanted to level each class in the game to max level! (I know now how I lost the enthusiasm about 6 level 90's later how much time it takes!)Probably my all time favorite raid is Icecrown Citadel. It was the first proper organized raid that I had ever done, I was on Horde side in a guild called "NeighborHorde Watch" on my home server The Venture Co on EU, I played a Blood Elf Rogue named Émi (who is now Alliance under a different name). I do not know if this guild is still running as I have been on the Alliance side now for a long time. I was on the guilds Ventrilo server, I had my flasks and potions and I was ready to raid. We met up in Dalaran and flew over to Icecrown Citadel, as I flew there with the guild I felt part of something very special and knew that it was going to be an amazing experience because of what I had heard from my friends who had been playing since the launch of the game, and the grand scale of them compared to dungeons. The scale of ICC blew me away when I first ran into the portal, I could not believe the attention to detail. I was listening to my guild members talk about the tactics of each boss and where I should be standing, I took in every word they said and I felt kind of anxious in case I screwed anything up and wiped the raid group! I kept going over in my head where the traps were that I needed to disarm as I was the only rogue in the raid! The pressure was on! Luckily I only wiped the whole raid once but they were ok about as I had never raided before! We did ICC every Wednesday and Saturday night around 8pm I think. We never got the Lich King down, we got as far as Sindragosa but always wiped. I cannot remember why we kept wiping but I always remember that we never killed the Lich King. The music in ICC is in my opinion the best music in the whole of WoW, there is just something so magical about it that I cannot explain. Every time I Go back to ICC now as level 90 with friends or solo for achievements or the odd transmog item or just for nostalgia always gives me chills as I remember the feelings I had as I think back to the day I first went to ICC with my guild, it still to this day is one of the best experiences I have ever had playing World of Warcraft and I thank my friends and Blizzard for making experiences like these, this is the reason I will always play World of Warcraft despite what direction the game goes or what changes are made, I started this journey and I will see it through to the very end of the World of Warcraft.
