Maybe they finally deliver the features they promissed on the announcement.
I want the game to look like the 2018 trailer that they promised. https://youtu.be/-4K2u2KbpdE
A Remake of Warcraft 1 and 2 would be nice.
the game is still broken for single player campaign. Triggers don't do what they are supposed to and the AI defends outposts (like 1 tower blocking an expansion location) as if it was their main.
What I would them to do is to fix the models, or more like the textures and materials. The characters dont fit the overall game, they look like different art style. Simplyfying the textures could fix that.
Will the remake of Reforged come?
imagine if they remade all of wow's content as wc3 campaigns, would be the most awesome thing ever
Best we can hope for is that they've realised that they cannot leave one of their most iconic games in the state they left it and that they are going to put in the resources to fix it up and restore it to greatness.Worst we can expect is another slapdash effort where they try and sell us a WoW mount.
If they restart development on warcraft 3 and it's good, they'll get so much loyalty from me ngl
Imagine if they took the time and put in the effort that a WC3 remake deserves. What a disappointing letdown.
Warcraft 3: Re-Reforged
Having heard from people on the team, there were some "interesting" meetings going on when this game was being developed.Basically, some new hires wanted to torpedo the company's legacy to not have it compete with the new staff's vision. It was a bit more vulgar than that, but I wouldn't be able to describe it on this site anyways.
Warcraft III: Reforged Titanforged Edition
Rebooting Reforge, or Spot-Welding Reforge, is not something I would dismiss out of hand, but they need to really handle it well. Obviously there are things like "improved cinematics" and "new cast voice acting" or even "World of Warcraft style models" as optional alternatives, but none of these "flair" updates matter if they botch the systems again, so no matter how bottom-line or elaborate the new content in a 2.0 is, mishandling the project two times in a row would be a brutal mistake. Also, don't outsource the art again. Outsourcing is so risky when your company historically has poor project management skills within management. That said, I do echo the puzzlement raised by the version number skipping to 2.0 for a game that didn't increase their version number for the original Frozen Throne expansion release or for Reforge itself. So one of three things is happening here; 1) Something amazingly ambitious is happening, more so than a typical remaster or expansion. 2) Reforge is being labelled as 2.0 and the original version of WC3 is being revived fully as ~1.31.1 3) Someone balls'd up and they are just adding minor tweaks or the missing pieces to the original promised product and mislabelled the patch because they were confused by the historical numbering system for the RTS compared to the MMO.Three. It's three isn't it?
Would love to see the added support for multicore cpu before taking on more updates....
