Im not seeing the morally grey yet but that was one awesome cinematic
What the hell was that? They sat there saying "WAIT AND SEE THE FULL STORY!" for months and hinted that there was more to it. She burned it down to spite a random soldier. This isn't why I play Horde, if I wanted Garrosh again I'd just play a MoP private server.
Morally grey? More like full on cartoon villain.
tfw you called it back when BfA was first revealed and are now waiting for all the naysayers who denied it all this time to lose their minds.
Called it.
Well, there is no way in hell I'm going to play Horde now after this. Not morally grey anymore. Just plain evil. That's not what the Horde was built upon. Also, at this point this just feels like lazy writing. The Alliance (and Anduin) have done nothing but try to prevent this and that just makes me feel like it's good guys versus bad guys.
l o lLiterally the only reason she burned the tree down was because she was dared by a random general. Sylvanas, the cold and calculating undead, burned down a tree because of words.Blizzards writing is as bad as always.
You could have turned it all around, Blizz, in this one moment and you didn't. Sigh.Good luck with the s***storm.Oh well, for the horde!
I don't see anything "morally grey" here, just Sylvanas reacting like a child saying "You see I can do it !"I really don't see how the horde could follow her after the whole Garrosh time and still pretend to be the good guys pushed by the Alliance.
Sheesh, didn't see that coming!
Morally Gray
I think there will also be horde races that will not take this strategy well, such as the Taurens that are related to druidism, that the next move is to attack Moonglade?
Not sure why people are complaining. Motives make sense, and actions make sense in context with what they were trying to do in the first place; assure horde survival in a world where a new azurite super weapon exists. They went to cut off supply, and demoralize the alliance, and they did just that.Every time i see someone yell "MORALLY GREY" all i can vision is some fedora wearing virtue signaler. Its war. It's survival. Its kill, or be killed.
"you can't kill hope""BURN IT" (Yes i can)
They are definitely heading towards a wrath of the lich queen expansion. I forget the name of the new forsaken female character they are building up in BfA to take over leadership of the forsaken.By the end of this expansion we will see sylvanas run off to northrend to either kill or join forces with bolvar.
Oh damn i can see the thousands of complaining from here...And i'm ONE OF THEM goddamit, Sylvanas is the cause of the war and the only wall against peace in Azeroth.i'm Horde player but i want her dead, i don't like anymore this character and i don't want any redemption, she's become just as the lich king : a good character but slowly becoming evil with power and war...Saurfang has right : there is no honor in that. Inocents people will die in Darnasus just because Sylvanas don't like to be pitied.
I mean, she decided to burn the tree. No one said to her "yo no stop lol what are u doin crazy lady". This is war. She decided to break the spirit of the Alliance even more. She achieved her main goal, so I don't see any bad writing. The night elf ranger herself gave Sylvanas that idea, stating that "lol u can't break our spirit if u just capture us lol I am so edgy lol". I mean, I would get pissed too... Call me biased, but it's just her mean to deal with life and hope. Desperate people aren't crazy, they just choose a different path to follow. Maybe blind a murderous but still different. + If her actions cause you to swap factions, you were never a true horde player after all...
