"Should have been like this from the start" is the most recurring feeling I have toward non-combat systems in this expansion. Torghast layer unlocks being character specific at least two months, no upgrade system for PvE gear until the first major adjustment patch, still a bunch of issues with the crafting systems...
Nice! Now I just gotta unlock it on my main so I can start not collecting stygia for my alts anyway.
Hey nice! A birthday present from Blizz. Better late than never..?
This is why I despise playing at launch (even since MoP, not just legion onwards). Mid-expansion still has a grind and relevant content to gear for but has all the nonsensical hurdles/hoops removed when blizzard see people aren’t doing the content anymore as they intended. Or when they deem that the tip of the spear (world first raiders; people pushing +25s and onwards when possible; multi-rank 1/blizzcon) players are done doing the chore content that was designed in the first place to slow their progression down.
I am on Mythic Generals and I still dont have the rep to get sockets, the maw is so boring af I got 2100 rgb rating instead because bashing me head agianst the pvp wall for the first time was more fun then the maw.
If this is speed alts it is mandatory. Personally me haven't lot of bop recipes from old content
I stopped trying to get the Beastwarrens Event mount, even though I'll level up all my BfA alts, at their pace, and went for the TC and the new 9.0.5 (boring but easier to get of all 3 IMO) instead. Twisting Corridors just go in with one of the top specs for it and be done. My main is a Hunter (played MM at the start but I'm getting more fun playing as SV now) and had already unlocked TC layer 3, and had a Warrior, a few ilvls below, and went on a rampage with it thru the rest (Venthyr Arms), easily. The new 9.0.5 mount, you can get it within a week, with paced farm for the 20 bars, but if you focus hard, you might get it within 1-2 days, just gotta beat the lazyness.Get one, or both of these mounts, and the rest of your alts will even use it on the introductory Maw questline, 48+.As for OP, I still don't get why people bother with the farm for sockets, what if patch 9.1 hits with 'new' items? Blizz did this in the past, over and over, and I still see people 'farming for non-permanent stuff', then get mad at everyone else, specially on Blizz. Focus the more permanent 'rewards'. I thought that with this change newer alts wouldn't need to farm the rep to access the Beastwarrens (Seriously, it's a more easier area than Perdition Hold, and I think the latter should be the 3rd to unlock, instead) to get more weekly shots at the mount (yeah, even with the other 2, I'm still a collector).
Let me alts into the Beastwarrens you monsters!
I'm only on the second tier of reputation on my first 60... but I appreciate this nonetheless.
now do that for all the other rep vendors in the game
I don't know why people are saying this excludes the crafter's mark II, cause it's simply not true.My apprehensive mage was able to buy it.Are you sure you followed the blue bost instructions and have a high enough profession skill?Proof: https://imgur.com/7YpaJ1z
Why do they keep doing this its killing the game. This was clearly something they should have done from the start when people said that the maw was unbearable but no I guess with blizzard now a days you just have to wait till the end of patches for the game to be in its finished state.
Honestly this is infuriating. A lot of people spent tens of hours on their alts to unlock those rewards, and now it's account-wide. Don't get me wrong, the change is good, but it's one of those changes on the long list of things that should have been there day one. It's difficult not to hate on blizzard when they do this kind of stuff, effectively nullifying the time you've invested in the game.I'm not one of those "This is it, I quit" kind of people, but this time I actually HAVE quit the game. I quit two months ago because it was impossible to keep up with stuff like that on alts. Stygia, Ven'ari rep, gear, conduits, legendary grinding, weekly chest, renown, the different currencies to unlock cosmetic rewards, it's impossible to keep up.And the worst part is, I love shadowlands. I love its content, the gameplay and visual (and auditory) design, I love concepts like renown and legendaries, but the accumulation of stuff to grind perpetualy is just off the charts this time, and it's actually stopped me from playing.Wow is one of those games where people use to spend countless hours enjoying the content, now they try so hard to force you to play, that you actually stop ...
Finally! Thank you Blizz.
You know the drill folks. Ve'nari reputation becoming account wide means it will be obsolete soon.
