Are you a player who is carrying around more
Primal Focus
or
Concentrated Primal Focus
than you need? If so, we have good news for you! In Patch 10.0.7, Blizzard has introduced a new set of quests to turn your unused
Primal Focus
and
Concentrated Primal Focus
into Reputation.
Turn your Primal Foci into Reputation
In Valdrakken,
Azley
offers four new quests to players with at least x2
Primal Focus
or x1
Concentrated Primal Focus
in their inventory. She is the goblin who stands to the right of the Crafting Order Station next to
Rabul
, the Artisan Consortium Quartermaster. These quests allow players to exchange their unused Primal Foci into reputation tokens.

You can either exchange x2
Primal Focus
or x1
Concentrated Primal Focus
for 50 Reputation with the Faction of your choice. If you have at least x10 Foci in your inventory, you will be able to turn them in all at once through a different quest to save some time.

Instead of making it BOA you did this? Yikes....
Yeah it would definitely be healthy for the game to be able to trade 405/418 gear to your alts
/s
Literally doesn't change anything regarding the health of the game though. Except fewer casuals who are hardstuck at +6 keys get free carries when good players are gearing their alts, I suppose (assuming those good players don't just get guildies to carry them in +20's and gear up using the vault instead). What's your take on that? Loads of high-end players funnel 415 gear to their alts by just getting +20 carries. How does that negatively impact the health of the game? It doesn't.

should of been dragon shard of knowledge instead of rep tbh
100% who still needs rep this far into the expansion?
I'm at about an average of renown 5 with each of the factions. But I also don't care about the rep, so I guess I don't technically need it.

Best gear should never be account wide, go and earn those focuses on your alts if you want high ilvl gear.
Except crafted gear isn't even close to best gear. So there's absolutely no problem making that available on your alts as long as you earned required items on any of your characters.
It's very close to it and in some cases it straight up is bis. Play the character, get the gear, that's what the game is about. If you only had to earn gear once the whole gameplay loop is gone, what's even the point of gear then? Just give everyone max gear from start and let's push to infinity.
How did you only earn it once? You can't dupe the item, you know that right? What's the difference between earning it on one character as opposed to another? You still earned them. By virtue of the great vault, you're essentially forced to do 1/4/8 keys per week on your main just for a slim chance at a BiS item from the vault, which leads to excessive amounts of primal foci. You still earned those, just not on the character you need them. But you also HAVE to earn them on a character that doesn't need them. So they are less deserved? It literally wouldn't change anything if they were account wide. Not a single thing (except making alt-gearing way less tedious, of course). How bad for the health of the game is it that alts get their 5 sparks instantly? Per your own logic, that must be detrimental to the game, right? You don't even earn those, you just tell an NPC that you've earned them before and you're handed them instantly.
