Great list
This seems really skewed toward a minority of players, I mean, MoP CM sets being so prevalent ? Really ? I realize I don't speak for everyone, but as a pretty average casual player, I have zero interest in CMs (mostly because there's no insta-queue, otherwise I would have probably tried them out, just like Normal raids). I'd love to see playerbase-wide stats on who bothered with them. Wouldn't be surprised if it was just around 10% of people.Though I would love to see more of this (with less sampling bias), per class, per weapon type, etc.
How about this, you can do a weekly Transmog highlight where you show off peoples transmog they send in to you. You can have a strawpoll or something to see what people think are best looking
How can someone obtain Torn-Heart Axe of Battle if when he did the quest has chosen another reward?
I spent so long getting this before it was removed from the game. It's the only transmog I really care for. Darkmantle Armor
It's disappointing that a lot of the pieces on those lists can't be obtained anymore. It's neat info though. I'd be interested in seeing other statistics too, like which hairstyles are most most/least used for each race.
Yeeahhhhh! Black Bow of the Betrayer! I'm so proud of you, *sniff* making it to second place. (Our guild grinded the heck out of that place to get T-mogs, one of the war blades dropped when the Bow finally dropped for me.)Always interesting to see what most people are tmogging these days. Unfortunately everyone who seeks to be unique will come up short, Tmog terrible mismatching items, you're guaranteed to be a terribly-unique. haha
I enjoyed this Spotlight. I would also enjoy a similar article about shoulders and tabards. Shoulders are my favorite piece in regards to transmog. I've always enjoyed tabards and what they can do for a set. Most of the time, a transmog set doesn't "need" a tabard. However, if you can find a tabard that works, it can really compliment the set. I like to think of tabards as accessories--like jewelry.Nice article.
I managed to get several sets or partial sets of glaives before one bow dropped on my hunter. I did get the bow on a warrior when they still used ranged weapons for stats but it just was not the same.
As a transmog aficionado, this is interesting. But sadly only mildly so.To me at least, knowing what the most used individual armor piece is, is not really that interesting. The weapons however was surprising actually. I highly doubted Gorehowl would make the list, and Asscan- Sorry, I mean Ashkandi, Greatsword of the Brotherhood not being on there was even more surprising. But then again I may just be too old.Speaking for myself and myself only of course.I think it would be more interesting to see which combinations of pieces are most used rather than individual ones. Focusing mainly on main pieces, like legs, shoulders and chests, possibly helmets. Of course this would probably just lead to a ton of tier sets, but if you were to exclude transmogs that use tier sets/recolors with 3 or more set pieces then it could be something.

Headgear - love my bloody bandana on my rogue, wolf face mask for my ugly goblin hunter, then for my toons of the fairer gender I try not to hide their pretty faces and hair. Also use chest and leggings that are scant to make them pleasant visually. This can be difficult with certain races (ie. Undead, tauren, and the horizontally and vertically challenged). Only wear tabards in instances for rep building but often forget to put it on. 😫
