Nice, maybe this will apply to druid forms too?Hopefully brewmasters also start to carry any staff/polearm like their artifact, not that I enjoy brewmaster in its current state though anyway.
Pretty cool, would be nice is the same thing was available for corrupted Gorehowl.
YES! I was just thinking the other day about how sad it would be to no longer hear Xal'atath's whispers.
Yes! I’m happy with this. I was going to miss Aluneth.
YAaaaaaaay! I was hoping I'd get to keep hearing my 'charming' friends in BfA!
That's great! I really love my condecending buddy Aluneth. So happy to hear, that his snarky comments will accompany me in the future! :D
Something to take into consideration for this article though as it is leading readers to believe that there's a chance there'll be ongoing Voiceline updates for BfA from weapons we won't even be using any more- on the Beta currently, transmogging to Affliction's Artifact Ulthalesh, has Souls spawn while in combat (the ones tied to the Artifact Ability) so it could just be that certain things tied to the Artifacts are being carried over due to them being passive effects that come with the weapon. And then due to the coding of them, having the appearance of the weapon transfers over some of these passives. Obviously some of these aren't occurring like Hati from Titanstrike for Beast Mastery, but then it might just be something to do with how they're coded into the item seeing as you have to have your actual Pet active while wearing Titanstrike to have Hati spawn. Seeing as they're just using the exact same voice lines as on live and the bugs with things like transmogging Ulthalesh, it seems doubtful (to me, obviously it's an opinion) that this is going to stay this way and have them talk to you throughout BfA. Large portions of the voicelines would not proc because they're tied to characters/places/events around Legion and I don't see why Blizzard would put the effort into creating new voicelines to occur with things in BfA when not everyone is guaranteed to see them themselves because they aren't forced to have the Appearance on them at all times like they were in Legion with it being the only Weapon you would use. The likelihood of people using other transmogs is very high when you think about not only the size of the playerbase but also the chance of, for example Warlocks/SPriests not using One Hands so they're immediately locked from transmogging to the weapon at all. So there's already a guaranteed percentage that would never just come across these interactions themselves without having to read up on something like a WoWHead article about it and then wait to get the Dagger/OH drop from wherever so they can transmog to it just to go and read/hear the single Voiceline happen for themselves. It might just be me thinking too much about it and being a bit too negative but I don't see why Blizzard would invest so much for so little gain, especially with how the new philosophy of WoW seems to be heavily ensuring that everyone gets to see all the kinds of content that they're bringing into the game. To me, it just seems to be a bug- espcially given the Ulthalesh bug (although they might keep it as a "feature" when they see how much everyone enjoys them) but I REALLY doubt they're going to introduce new voicelines to appear for stuff around BfA when we're finished with the Artifacts once we drain them of power to stop the wound from Sargeras' sword's corruption and they no longer hold any relevance in the world as items.
Отличная новость!
Can I put Aluneth on ignore, though?
