Capitalism is the problem. Blizzard is just a symptom.
In 10 years hardcore mode will be players doing as much content as possible without having to pay.
I'm waiting for them to change all shop items to cost a premium currency instead of real money that you can only buy in bundles.
Along with MANY others completely called this when the trading post was announced. "They'll keep adding more and more nice items you can't afford all of them and then they will introduce trading tender for sale on the cash shop".A large chunk of naysayers said we were being pessimists and this would never happen. If you still let Blizzard fool you on this stuff then you are extremely gullible and exactly their modern target audience. They slowly ease you into this garbage and I see people's opinions slowly change from "Blizzard would never do that, you all will complain about anything" to "It's not that bad, other games do this" even though most of those games have no subscription fee.Dangit I already quit Overwatch after years of playing don't make me quit WoW after nearly two decades of fun.......this company just gets worse and worse as time goes on. This is bad even by modern fake "Blizzard"'s standards.
I don't understand why people are so upset. IF they're going to sell Trader's Tenders (big IF) I don't think they're changing the current system. I'm sure you will still be able to earn your 1000 a month from doing certain activities. IF they are going to do this, it'll only be for the people that want it all NOW. Keep in mind they say that everything that shows up at the trader will show up again, so if you want to get it for free, then you eventually will. That's assuming that this is even what's going on.
LOOOOOOOL
Don't do it, Blizzard...
Here's my guess: It'll be a system where if you don't log in and earn your 1000 through doing in-game activities, you can pay to catch up, but no more.
and they all called me mad.
Looking at how there are half a hundred denominations, these could possibly be just new/updated icons for the Trading Post that goes next to the items up for that month.
Tbh with how rarely useful stuff comes up on the trading post if you're already a collector (meaning you already had celestial steed\every shop mount\cindermane\every raf mount) there's very little to use tender on, I don't see whats the problem is that 10 euro can buy 1000 tender when I can hardly spend the free tender I get per month, as it is so far it's an useless currency, as in too plentiful for the stuff to spend on, at least as mount collector.
Wow, unfortunately expected and completely freaking terrible. Please don’t actually go through with this, Blizz. But we know they will.Unbelievable. Trying to gut the game for everything you can, are you? This absolutely will mean an increase of items available per month, especially big tickets such as mounts, and possibly a price spike or reduced earnable tender per month. I saw this coming the second we got two months without warning this month- they were baiting the reaction, and a lot of people took the bait & wanted the ability to purchase more tender. Hopefully this is to gauge reactions as well. Please don’t do it.
