Fine, but then cancel the monthly fee for the game. You can spend more on microtransactions than in other similar free MMOs.
We won't put trader currency in the shop we pwomise.
If they keep putting the old recolored content in there, it makes no sense. make new sets and maunts then the players will start to change their minds. no one wants to pay for the old content
Please Blizz nobody wants this. Its really really bad.
Called it.
Why is this a big deal, you can probably still earn enough tender to buy things you really want without paying, if some completionist whale wants to buy all the items nobody picks anyway that's on them, it's not like any of these items are really that special if anyone can just easily earn them without much effort, you don't really need to play the game much to max out the tender every month.
lmaoooooo we dosnt hear you the ppl who said this was the """best feature""" take that as a lesson its not the first time blizzard backstab you
This is very sad news..
Just feels bad after month 1 it felt like we weren't getting enough tender and they refused to budge and give us more. I guess we know why now.
Dear Blizz.. Please don't do that, unless it is in markets with limited access to gametime.
Best case scenario.. Not cash purchasable. but markers to sell things that are on the cash shop in exchange for your in game earned tender.
I suspect they saw how popular the Trader's Post was and, well... the kerching! sound went off in their head lolNot sure how to feel about this one. So long as they don't reduce the amount of tender you can get in game, I guess its okay. But I suspect the likely outcome will be an increase in tender cost for items, to the point where you can't quite get all that you want from in-game sources.Guess we'll have to wait and see.
I've been too long in the hobby to not be cynical about this:Yeah... that's going to mess this system up. No doubt they are going to push the prices for the items over time. Making it so you have less to get with the 'free' ones.Would be classic MMO garbage to have multiple in-game currencies that can be bought with actual money. For extra predatory behaviour they'll make sure to obfuscate the conversion rate.
Saw it coming, as did everyone else. Well, not everyone else, lots of people took Blizzard at their word, even after all these years, that they wouldn't sell Trader's Tender.I would be opposed to this no matter what, but I wish Blizzard could just skip the part where they lie for once. I know it's not in their best interests to just be upfront about adding another avenue of monetisation to the game, and that they would rather delay the backlash, but I still like to fantasize about a bit of a more ideal world where they could stop themselves from lying just once.
yes now put an ah mount on that market and set its price to 10000 tokens.
/sighLike the way, it is now. (earn and not buy them. lol)
I reccently did a survey where the asked about buying trader tenders... Also about buying the chance to speak with devs xD And the main topic was with packs with content between games, like will you buy a pack with a mount for wow, skin for diablo and/or Overwatch 2, Hearthstone things and a chance to speak to devs? I have screenshots saved :P
I love how so many people are jumping to conclusions. There's way too many pictures and they're increments of 50.That's not how games do 'store bought currency'.More likely is Blizzard creating a more aesthetic way of presenting either prices or rewarded tender.I'm leaning towards reward, since quests give a minimum of 50 tender (And the fact that the pictures do not go beyond 1000 tender - If they'd be selling the stuff, you can bet you could buy big amounts like 5k or 10k). But, we just don't know at this point.
I am late to the party :(Or maybe too early! They simply following the old working rules of consumers trickeries. First, give them things for very low price / bonus items if you buy a certain number, or simply for FREE if you stay "loyal".Once consumers get used to this in few weeks/months or even years, then start charging them an arm and leg for even little things.
