another classic case of people being mad without full information, they said there is ways to get a 100% tier set piece that you want.settle down malders, it's unhealthy at your age to get this mad over a game.
Initially I don't like this system. Tokens for tier sets just seem to make a whole lot more sense to me and reduce the chance that you have "wasted" drops. E.g. You only have 1 Rogue and they get a duplicate tier drop they can't trade to anyone. But if the Zerith Mortis system to effectively turn other non-tier pieces into tier pieces is available relatively early in the tier? That could balance things out. I still think I prefer the idea of tokens for tier though. Maybe even without the class restrictions. Just have tier tokens you can assign to whoever you like, sounds nice to me.
Biggest problem is now flex raiding. If you have 10-15 players, you likely have very few duplicate classes. So now when the one priest/one monk, get a duplicate piece of tier its just a wasted drop... This worked in vanilla cus you had 40man raids and were guaranteed to have tons of people wanting each piece
Honestly I was expecting a token since weapons were in CN. However, this all boils down to how fast can we craft a tier set and at what week is this doable? Can you do mythic tier sets? Upgrade current tier sets to a higher tier? Gear RNG has always been in the game, its acceptable and is quite the norm. Yes its frustrating to kill a boss week after week and not get something you need, but that has existed since vanilla wow 15 years ago. Of course I can just likely search hundreds of news articles to see first datamined information of this - but would of been great information to have linked with the article - crafting tier sets.
This may be a silly question, but not sure I have seen it answered before, if I loot the druid chest piece as tank spec, if I switch to feral, does the set bonus change also....or am I destined to try and farm every spec set? or is it 1 set will be fine for every class?
Everything suggests to me I'm better off playing 9.2 when 9.2.5 is released and the timegating is removed.
guys, don't forget that we will be able to turn M+ gear into set pieces
Good decision - gear is handed out too easily, where's the fun in getting a full tier set in a week or two. Seems some are too eager to finish everything as soon as possible, then complain there's no content. This trend needs to die. Take inspiration from previous expansions when loot was not as readily available, doing your weekly reset was actually meaningful and exciting, getting geared took time, tier progression took time - seeing a guy in a full tier set actually meant something.
Please blizzard u have to make it drop tier tokens. This is going to cause so many problems for people that aren't in the top guilds.Bring back weapon tokens too the reason was so stupid for taking them out, if it was for RP reasons, instead of making the vendor in the covenant area just put them in the new zone. If Sanctum of Domination weapon tokens were taking to korthia it would have made sense.
As long as the drop rates aren't as low as they are in Sanctum, I don't see the problem with this. If we're looking at sub-1% drop rates, this'll be pain. Luckily, Lost Ark NA/EU is dropping soon, so there's some sort of escape for the tier if Blizz @#$%s it up like they tend to do.
You can't implement tier sets to drop as the item like it did in previous exansions while the bosses drop half the items they used to back then. As the only dk in my guild I can already tell I won't get a tiersets for potentially months unless I go to a boosting service and buy a 20 man ViP trade.
It's obviously that's not easy to complete 4-set if I am the only one warrior in our raid team. Simple math.
"it's difficult for your single Rogue player to actually loot a piece"I see even wowhead's making fun of us...I did not get a single dagger in 20 weeks. Not drop, not vault and now they !@#$ us over with this %^&*. I've never been THIS close to just stop playing in 17 years...
How I would fix it...kill Jailer get a token for a tier piece of your choice based off difficulty. Tada!
