They should have an affix where if a druid jumps off a cliff they get 30% damage buff.
Any downside that isn't a stun is fine, stun is bad.
I like these changes. It confirms that I need to stop looking on the bright side of things and come to terms that things can in fact get worse.
Obviously, the healer will be the sacrificial stun as nature intends.
They just. Don't. Miss. Anymore.Based devs.
This is going in the right direction but still needs work
Guys, calm down. No one says the stun is 8 seconds, it's only the damage, learn to read ...
This is interesting. I imagine youd just do it till like 12 seconds and prio making sure healer and tank have partners to not be stunned but it sucks that like a one odd man out dps is gonna have to take an 8 second stun every time.
It seemed to mark only 4 people randomly on the vids and having a few ranged each group def seemed way better than all melee. It looked really rough w a melee group. Crap was nuts in towelee’s diff groups in his vids but seemed easier to deal with when groups were mixed.
remove this affix u fools
Just skip the seasonal affix for the first season, it's really not needed.
I understand that removing control from players is an RPG staple for a long time now, but stun/fear mechanics just feel incredibly punishing when climbing keys can already be punishing enough. I'd like them to play around with actual curse in the kiss/curse rather than just "ohh look you're stunned... and ohh look now you're dead, FUN right?" How about fail to clear, and the affected players now do 15% less damage and orbs spawning will cause some damage and reduce the damage dealt by those hit. So fail to clear and potentially the whole party can deal less damage if the group royally screws up.
I’ll wait to see streamers try this on beta before I say it’s bad, or good. But appreciate them trying something. I’m sure they will change it up again if needed.
Is it just me or does this make it worse?Like, any other player could supposedly just "steal" the buff away from you without you wanting to removing the Kiss in that scenario. At times when you do want to remove the buff, often in M+ there will be moments where so many mechanics/affixes are going on that it makes it tough to actually get into contact with someone in time.I feel like its going to be a situation like Quaking. Most of the time its fine but just a hassle if anything, but there will be those moments i.e. Gloom Squall on SD last boss where Quaking begins but you're all forced to stack in a small area which just feels terrible.
