I have not really got into WoW's story all that much, and I have been playing since vanilla. This makes me really want to get into the books, etc. Maybe I will start on that on my road trip to Blizzcon. =P
Really good story. Thanks everyone!
I cannot wait to see a windrunner sister show down! it's gonna be better than Clagane-bowl!
Blizzard makes another wonderful audio for added lore.
Kind of heartbreaking, in a way. First we end Illidan, then we get him back and now we lose him yet again. Also, Tyrande seems to be just a stone cold person, although I can understand why. From everyone else's point of view Illidan may seem selfish and only focused upon himself and what he thinks should be done and has to be done.I can respect that, but it will surely lead a lonely life.
Well so far I've only had time to listen to part one, but I enjoyed hearing about Draenor's destruction first hand. I do believe it is possible for light to hold flaws as well as shadow.
Pretty hyped to see the interaction between Sylvanas and Alleria. Also really pumped for void/old gold play time, mostly because after that I don't know what else is left.
The Audio Drama was grand and interesting.
I kinda wish they came out with this sooner. I know Turalyon was supposed to be a big reveal in the game, but most people who play now aren't like me (someone who played Warcraft 2) and actually know who these characters are. But the fact Blizzard is doing this stuff is awesome.
I'm really glad that they're going more into the story with these characters, but I wish that all this were present in the game in some fashion. Having important backstories and context only revealed outside of the game is obnoxious and nonsensical.
Always good with some story about what happened in places we weren't able to see. :)Looking forward to see just how Alleria's powers of the void turn out in the future. The time of Legion has been ripe with awe! ^_^
I think we're seeing a lot of hints that the Light and Void are not respectively the pure Good and pure Evil we were initially led to believe. It'll be interesting to see the story diverge more from that black-and-white morality we've become accustomed to.
I hope they keep doing those audio stories between expansions as well, not just at the end of each expansion.
The sound effects really adds to the experience.
Hearing what happened in all those years between legion and the time they gotten lost is really satisfying.
I always enjoy hearing stories about the lore, since I do a lot of roleplaying. As always, they've done a fine job. My favorite part of this so far has been the simple yet vivid description of the world and everyone in it. It feels like you're there with them!
nice poster
This is really awesome! We're learning more about these important characters!I'm looking forward to having more light shed once Blizzcon rolls around!
The whole storytelling and sound design of the audio drama make it very clear that both light and shadow have strong tendencies and are totalitarian forces. Can't wait to see more!
I am excited so much about the audio book because of the implications it has. The light is not an all loving energy, it is a force that will punish and force those who dont obey it's orders.
