More of John Staats is always good. The WoW Diary was amazing and it's good to hear he's doing more.
The WoW Diary is definitely a must-have for all Vanilla WoW lovers, I actually found it enjoyable like a novel (I have read it twice). I own two copies of it, and I'm now gonna fund (and later purchase) this reissue as well. The book itself shares insights and anecdotes about the WoW development which can't be found elsewhere, and checks all the boxes on a nostalgic geek from the late 80s-early 2000s era of gaming.
I definitely want a copy of this!
Yeah, Probably a good time to post this after the whole Brian Birmingham thing. Wonder if they'll learn yet? Probably not.
It's a massive shame that Activision has dragged Blizzard down into the typical rush to release now, patch later game developer focusing mostly on metrics and shareholders and not passion for games and their players.
I bought a copy from the first printed edition. I highly recommend it to any WoW fan who's interested in how the game got made, how Blizzard worked back then, and how game development in general works.
I got the first edition and this book is amazing, worth every penny.
