BONKERS! gg bro
I feel like there were wagers. :)
Does it really count if the person in question was able to buy all the help needed?

Jokerd also got it without guild helping. He spent over 30k gold on fragments.
Where is the post about Jokerd ? He farmed gold for more than a month every day so he could have scarab lord. He spent more than 30k gold on it and only help he got was from a few of his fans. The first day it released he did a 30 hour stream just farming for it. Respect to this guy but bigger respect to Jokerd for hitting world first 60, being a first gen rank 14 and also hitting scarab lord, not everyone can do that.
@Ledx & @GwumpypantsAre you joking? Jokerd had a legion of fans summoning him around the world and carrying him through the rest of the quest chain. Yeah, 30K gold is nothing to sneeze at, but Jokerd absolutely had an easier time of doing this quest chain.
So just like in Vanilla, someone got this with sheer dumb luck. Not coordinated guild efforts.
Nothing which proves that he was completely guildless other than this tweet which is really questionable evidence. For all I know the person could've left their guild before taking this screenshot and then been reinvited. Nevertheless, even if he was guildless the person would still have required some coordination with other players to farm Silithid Carapace Fragments such as Discord, and that would mean he used the same communication that guilds do. Basically he was in a guild but at the same time he wasn't, so I don't find this impressive at all.
As former scarab lord farmer when it was current, i can say it's defo a community effort, not so much guild effort alone. if you are very communicative and can get people behind you to help you out. you'll get this way quicker. When we did it, yes i got most support from my guild, but also a LOT from other guilds. We also helped the other guilds and actually waited with hitting the gong until a few people who planned this way in advance were all ready to do soNone the less, lots of respect to the people who got it with actually setting up community effort along side their long farm.Only point of bitterness i have myself is how they buffed certain aspect and made it easier in comparison to the original game, However i understand why it was done and as long as the people have fun it's all good.Personally i dont think as many people would have played vanilla if it was 1on1 the sameBonus points for Blizzard in making it this way so many people would actually enjoy it.
That's pretty cool. Also cool how no scarab lord can take credit for the mount as it's not possible to do this alone.
So a rich guy was able to RMT his way to a title and we'll make it news. Huzzah!
Jokerd had a legion of fans helping him ? lol he had like 20 random ppl help him at the start and then it fell off because ppl got bored. His guild didnt want to help him get it so he did it solo with few fans but most of the fragmets he bought from people so yeah i would say he deserves the spotlight more than this guy who just says he did it guildless and we believe that cuz of a tweet. Jokerd actually has the whole thing streamed and its even more impressive.
Why is this guy newsworthy?Jokerd did the same thing and have a stream to prove it.if you have a lot of gold and people that help you, its fairly easy.If he would have done it without help and without buying fragments, that would be newsworthy.
Nice to see Asmongold or Mconnel didn't get it LOL.
