Intriguing indeed.
How is jaina expecting the worst in the horde a bad thing? She was right and even the horde has turned on itself
I related the echo of Tyrande to everything she suffers in BfA as soon as I saw all that sh*&! begin to happen. But I confess I did not even relate Jaina's echo to the loss of Theramore and everything that happened afterwards. Damn, it makes perfect sense, so obvious now.And I still hope nothing bad happens to Baine. D:Four torches? Azshara? Sylvanas? Alleria?...The wars between horde and alliance always take proportions bigger enough to awake some greater evil against Azeroth. lol
While it is an interesting coincidence that the 4 leaders that we fight in the End Time instance are also ones relevant right now, I'd say it's just that though: Coincidence. The "End Time" takes place after a successful Hour of Twilight where Deathwing's machinations succeeded and life was scoured off of the face of Azeroth. According to Murozond, if this does not come to pass, an even worse fate awaits Azeroth. Something we have yet to bear witness to.The Baine, Sylvanas, Jaina and Tyrande in this instance are implied to have died in these places during the Hour of Twilight conflict though. Failing to prevent the end of the world during Deathwing's siege.I wonder if N'Zoth is still on the "Hour of Twilight" plan. I mean, at the time getting rid of mortals by using Deathwing may have been the best way to get the freedom to break out of his prison. But now seems like one of those times that mortals may be working in his favor. Also, he may not be our true enemy right now. For one thing, he seeks to corrupt Azeroth. If the world soul dies, he's as screwed as the rest of us.
Echo of Jaina seem irrelevant to the current one considering after the Blighted Lands she seems like she's relieved. The only Echos that 100% fit the bill are Baine and Tyrande. The other 2 dont make sense with what information right now.I mean , sure Jaina could end up like that if her undead brother was part of Sylvanas's plan to be returned and will murder her mother or Sylvanas herself will kill Jaina's mother , since it is taboo for Sylvanas to kill or mess with family members of royalty.Sylvanas echo doesnt make sense because she never raised ghouls herself or even Forsaken. What she did up untill now is to use skeletons of corpses as a puppeteer but like a puppeteer they would die the moment Sylvanas doesnt focus on them.
The 5 Dragon Aspects?I know we lost Y'sera, but I think the aspects will yet play a larger role
i think that is just a coincidence that all these storylines are relevant now.isn't end time what would have happened if deathwing won?because you know, we can see him impaled.
TBH, only Tyrande's end time version have similarities with the present. Everyone else' similarities are a bit stretched. Not to mention Blizzard have no plans of BFA when patch 4.3 came out. So personally I don't think Jaina, Sylvanas and Baine's fate had no prophecies back then. They just wanted to show us what it'll look if we failed to stop The Hour of Twilight. Unlike prophecies in legion, they all came out true because blizzard was planning to make them true in upcoming expansions. But then again, blizzard can always revisit the past and make present look similar to them. Because after-all, N'Zoth is here just like cataclysm. Lets see.
I'd say the only decent parallel is with the Echo of Tyrande. The rest require a bit of stretching to draw parallels.
I still believe Sylvanas never actually jumped down from ICC. She was tricked by those Valkyr and enlisted into the service of whichever master they are serving. Just think about it....who are these Valkyr working for? The Lich King? Hardly, they seek to defect from him as soon as Arthas dies. The same is true for the Sanlayn. My theory is that there is a power behind (un)death that we have not yet seen as powerful as it really actually is. It could be Helya (i doubt it), it could be Yogg'Saron. They were fine with Arthas because he was weak and easy to manipulate into doing what they wanted - when Bolvar became the new Lich King they knew he would be much harder to manipulate and they instead looked for a new lackey - which they found in Sylvanas. The death of Arthas was the decisive turning point for the character Sylvanas. Up until then she did not go out of her way to commit attrocities. All she did was for the purpose of bringing down Arthas. What served that pupose was done, even if it was "morally gray" ...but when Arthas went down...the character needed a new goal. Sylvanas never wanted power just for the sake of having it. And she certainly did not wish to bring undeath upon innocents because she was fighting to prevent that from happening and avenging it being done to herself. But after those fishy Valkyr joined her, she began to do exactly that.I would not be surprised at all if the story turns out to be that we actually have to SAVE Sylvanas from whiochever entity sent those Valkyr after her 10 years ago. Which would kind of serve "both sides"....those who love Sylvanas do not lose the character (albeit it would be the Pre-Cataclysm Sylvanas) and those who hate her for what she did since then do get to take revenge for that...just not upon Sylvanas herself, as she would just turn out to be the first victim of this "new power" in the (un)death game of thrones.
Regarding Tyrande, totally different. In Tides of Darkness Elune does not response, like she is dead. Sentinels are not Night Warriors. They are fighting in their forest. While in BfA Elune have answered to Tyrande and gave this powers. Sentinels became Night Warriors. Also Horde have destroyed all Night Elves forests. So nothing the same. But knowing that Blizzard hate Night Elves, I give 100% that Tyrande will become a raid boss. I will delete WoW as soon as this will be anonnced.
Didn't someone already write about this on r/wow? In case anyone is confused as to context. Please at least give u/greenteaalmond credit for starting this discussion a month ago.
