More playstyle customization is always cool as long as it actually results in multiple viable different unique playstyles. If it is just picking haste over crit or something that doesnt change things much, then it is just adding in more complexity for no reason.

Inc....Hey you picked the wrong talents... KickHey your dps is .00012% too low with that setup.... KickBut for those like me who don't care about min maxing, definitely will be fun to mess with.
Back in the day I was a Dreamstate Druid -- ran up the Balance tree enough to get Dreamstate for Mana Regen, *then* went up the Resto tree as far as I could go. It meant I couldn't get Tree Form and empowered HoTs, but I could spam Healing Touch on a tank in a dungeon and keep them up. Until I joined a raiding guild, of course, and they were like, "Go be a tree if you want a raid spot."So I became a tree.
Hopefully swapping between talent sets doesn't require a consumable or being in a rested area.
I have to admit I don't really like this change, It's going to be a hassle setting it up and figuring out what I like best, and I really don't want to go back to the old way. But it seems like a lot of people like it so at least that's something. Thankfully for me I play pretty casually so I won't have to stress about the optimal path.
This seems like an illusion of choice. Based on these screenshots a boomkin can opt to not take an interrupt. Imagine starting a M+ keystone and then the druid has to dip out because he forgot to change from his "Max DPS ST Raid" spec that doesn't include solar beam. That doesn't seem like a choice you should have to make.
Form of flying available near the start, AH in the Capital, and now actual talent trees coming back. If they give Warrior Gladiator Stance back it'll be all my wishes come true and I may even just come back.

Looks better than what we've had in the past. Love it
OMG Will feral be as useful as a moonkin now?
They left behind that old talent tree because everyone ended up playing the same wayFor druids the left part looks like they just split up the affinity talents in 30 different talents, in order to give the impression of choise. On the right side it looks like CA/incarn is a talent "choise"....like it will be possible to skip it due to the power it gives, same with convoke. The only choises will be for roleplaying, not if you want to actually play anything remotly viable
I would hate the thought of these new/old trees except for the fact they are giving us loadouts. Because of loadouts and the ability to swap between them like the current system, I don't really have a problem with them. The only potential issue I foresee is having to pick certain undesired choices because your desired choice is locked behind their path. In that regard, I prefer the current system where each ability is independent of the choices in the other rows.
