Sylv: "he may or may not go to war but probably will when he's a few years older"just LOLOL bad writing
lol there's nothing "badass" about Sylv at all.Just a D tier trash level bond villain psycho B.Will be fun seeing her get whacked in two years at the end of the expansion.
Okay, so what if Anduin is the baddie. Like all this symbolism resembling Arthas, but not on Sylvanas, but on Anduin's side. I mean there was this: "The boy king serves at the master's table. Three lies will he offer you."
Something I noticed about the throne room scene, just to add to the discussion. Sylvanas says that Elune wouldn't be the only thing behind the Alliance that would oppose her. There was five universal forces that were being represented in that scene.1. Anduin/Light2. Alleria/Void3. Jaina/Arcane4. Genn/Life*and then with the final standing in opposition: Sylvanas/(Un)death*I say that Genn represents life because of how the worgen curse links back to druidism and the wild god, Goldrinn
When a thirty second chat with some random dying night elf is enough to make a character change the basic objective of an entire carefully planned battle campaign, then either the character's having a mental breakdown or the story is poorly written.Either one makes it difficult to assign coherent motivations to the character in question.
Now it all makes sense. The finale is not going to be Alliance and Horde against Sylvanas. It's going to be Lich King Bolvar, and (somehow) Illidan, and (somehow) the Void Lords, and the Alliance, and the Horde, and probably Azshara while we're at it, against Sylvanas. :)
YOU'VE HEARD IT FROM ME FIRST: IT'S PRETTY CLEAR THAT SYLVANNAS IS BEING CONTROLLED/INFLUENCED SOMEHOW BY THE LICH KING/BOVAR JUST LIKE WHEN SHE WAS UNDER ARTHA'S CONTROL PREVIOUSLY. It's pretty evident LK is using her as a tool for his "make everyone undead" plan - which would explain her out of character behavior. I predict the next expansion will be dubbed something like, "The Second Rise of the Scourge."
