Imagine if they put game lore in the game.Or better yet, make the story coherent and actually good in the game so a book wasn't needed.
A terrible story given retroactive context is still terrible. Blizzard tanking their video game to make random book sales that're a drop in the bucket is still super weird.
Why did she do it ? Idk maybe because it's the W-A-R ? I don't get it these Orc and Humans with "honor" tf you think Napoleon conquered half of the world without war crime ? War no matter what you do, only the victory count and hurt ennemy as much as you can to crush them easier.Btw, imagine you are the faction with 70% of all Azeroth ressources but you can't beat a Horde of "beast" stfu please.
She burned Teldrassil, thinking that if the mortals want to rescue those who died there, they would want to join her in invading Shadowlands and break the Death Establishment. By overthrowing the death mechanism, the dead would comeback alive, and everyone gains immortality. The deaths at Teldrassil would have been temporary. But the mortals were too stubborn (or too ignorant) to recognize how death actually works in the Warcraft universe, and therefore they blindly defended the Establishment. In doing so, they condemned their loved ones to real death instead of rescuing them from death.
that would explain everything.
