Zones
Revendreth Storyline Summary and Playthrough
: Revendreth is the fourth and final zone that players will level in Shadowlands, lasting from level 57 all the way to 60. We play through the entire zones, which answers some questions about the Jailer's allies and the anima drought.
Revendreth Zone Preview
: We've also taken dozens of screenshots of Revendreth, a moody gothic zone.
Halls of Atonement Dungeon Preview
: Halls of Atonement is the 2nd dungeon to open on Alpha, tying into the Revendreth story.
Customization
While character customization is not yet available on the alpha for players, the recent build added more options we were able to datamine for Human Male and Female characters. These options included more head shapes, hair styles, and jewelry options. We've covered them in five posts:
New Human Female Face Customization in Shadowlands
New Human Male Face Customization in Shadowlands
New Human Female Hairstyles
New Human Female Jewelry
New Human Male Hairstyles
Lore
New Horde Player Intro Lines in Shadowlands
: Datamined broadcast text pointed towards some updated descriptions for Horde races, which jarred with the fraught events of the Fourth War in Battle for Azeroth. Lead Narrative Designer Steve Danuser later confirmed on Twitter that these were placeholder phrases and the wording wasn't ideal.
Leveling
New Leveling Options and Pathfinder in Shadowlands - Choose Your Starting Experience and Expansion
: This build added the framework to choose where you want to level, although the choice will only be available to veteran players that already leveled through BFA.
Draenor and Broken Isles Pathfinder Not Required for Flying in Shadowlands
: Immediately before the build, Blizzard announced that you do not need the Draenor Pathfinder achievement to fly in Warlords zones, or Broken Isles Pathfinder to fly in Legion zones.
There have been numerous flying changes in the Shadowlands alpha so far, so we made a
handy guide to flying and riding in Shadowlands
.
Armor
The recent build added several armor sets:
Mail Venthyr Covenant Revendreth Shadowlands Armor Set
Mail Castle Nathria Shadowlands Raid Set
More Ardenweald Covenant Armor Tints
Plate Castle Nathria Shadowlands Raid Set
Classes
New Death Knight Runeforges on the Shadowlands Alpha
: Blizzard has added 5 new Runeforges for Death Knights on the Shadowlands Alpha, bringing the total number of Runeforges to 8!
New PvP Talents
: Greater Pyroblast was finally nerfed and Havoc Demon Huntersget a PvP talent that makes their Fel Rush apply a Mortal Strike debuff.
Updated Covenant Abilities
: This build added the Demon Hunter Necrolord ability, Fodder to the Flame.
Shadowlands Alpha Build 34137 Class Abilities, Covenant Abilities and Spell Changes
: Master list of all datamined changes.
We've also created a series of detailed reference pages for every class in Shadowlands, highlighting what class abilities and talents are returning or changed in the expansion. We update these Shadowlands class pages after every build:

Tbh, the pathfinding should let you fly in those zones as soon as you can mount instead of being lvl 30, by just completely removing anything linked to it except the mount, is kinda both insulting everyone who earned it plus taking away any incentive to complete it other than for mount collectors. If instead they let you mount at say lvl 10 and start flying right away in Draenor. You could keep up the treasure hunter style of level up play which is enjoyable, WoD Draenor was just about the only zone one person could complete the xpac entired from only bonus objectives and collecting all the treasures by flying around. Will be fun seeing new people to try to get from lvl 10-50 by only doing Draenor treasure on foot, but for those who earn the achievement, it will feel rewarding to allow your alts to gain flight as soon as you hit Draenor, you know you earned that flight from pathfinder and that should mean something, yes everyone gets flight at 30 in those pathfinder zones but for those who take the effort to complete pathfinder, they deserve flight right away since you literally get flight right away on your alts in those zones currently when you have pathfinder.
Hate to be that guy, but, as it currently stands, you need expert flying to begin with to fly on your alts. It's not just given because you have pathfinder. Right now, people do only bonus objectives and treasure because they can fly and get to them quickly, as well as the fact that they are just going through the motions of leveling instead of playing the content. They want to get to 120 as fast as possible, because anything they do for gear at (currently) level 105 is utterly pointless by the time they reach 110, and then that by the time they reach 120. Also, if you're doing Draenor 10-50 just for treasure, then you're missing the whole point of choosing the expansion. We don't know the exact numbers for experience in all the zones/expansions yet, but I would expect Blizz to balance them so in one expansion you don't level up in 5 hours and another takes you 5 days of playing (exaggerated numbers).
To me, it seems like you're just trying to find something wrong with their decisions. If you're not happy with not being able to fly in Draenor instantly once Shadowlands comes out, then don't go there. If you want to level just by treasure hunting, fine, then wait until you can fly to fly around and do it.
This ^ ^ ^ Seriously, you don't need a sticker of approval because at one point you did a set of goals in game to be able to fly. That is why you got an achievement for completing it. Plus the added bonus of a mount. That is your reward. Not additional privileges down the road. lmao
No one even considers Pathfinding to be a sort of trophy to throw around, it's the most hated thing to be added to the game and Matrixwolf is the only person sad to see it leaving. Hopefully ActiBlizz continue to show some semblance of wisdom and get rid of it completely for Shadowlands.
It's not most hated thing in WoW
