What if you go there wearing your "Crazy cat Lady/Man" title and have Brightpaw up as a pet, since Brightpaw looks like the kitties there? Also there must be something about those T-R-E-A-T-S and best friend as clues. Heading there now with pet treats, title and pet. I am going to try to use my B.F.F. Necklace to her.
So excited there are cats, and now only cats, but Brightpaw cats!
Magical Saucer maybe, or the other one, don't remembe his name, we can see it in this dungeon
I did wonder then I saw them the other week while I was doing a m+, it's not the best idea to pet them while fighting the 2ND mini boss as healer, got stunned a couple of times due to those kitten's got surprised then they just jumped me.
5 cats in a 5-man dungeon... *thinking emoji*
5 Katzen. 5er Gruppe. Gleichzeitig streicheln?5 cats, 5 men group. Pet all cats at the same time?
Anyone else find it slightly inconvenient that they've added this to an instance that's about to be retired? We've spent 2 years here already, why add it now? :DI moan, but obviously I'll end up coming back to grab it anyway :p
Burn it!
hmm what if you need to muffin buff from the muffin thieve that is located in Macaree, and then pet mr fluffymuffin.
Entirely unrelated (other than it has cats & kits in it) but I've always loved the riddle (and it's surprising how many get the maths wrong):As I was going to St. IvesI met a man with seven wivesEach wife had seven catsEach cat had seven kitsCats, kits, men and wivesHow many were going to St. Ives?
Suddenly remember a dog (or cat?) that you can pet in Drustvar. Maybe there is a relationship between them.Btw, the dog (or cat) is beside a local quest giver druid there. He gives a quest which you need to interact with 3 objects in a forest.
ooo kitties!
Maybe it's an anagram.
This is almost certainly a 5 man challenge, and I strongly suspect it will be completed once each cat (simultaneously) has a specific number of petting buffs on them. This would also correspond with Bliz's most recent implementation of voice chat, which could help coordinate something like this. The theory posited in the comments has to do with the order that the cats were obtained. Perhaps those are the numbers we need. As per rebrown38:"1. Mrs. Fluffymuffins is first. Ancient.2. Shadow is second3. Mew is third. Brought back by shadow, she had 2 other cats to pet.4. Ash fourth. There were 3 other cats.5. Bella last"So the first test would be to have 5 people petting the cats, one person starts with bella, and then the next person starts with ash (and bella will now have 2), and so on.That doesn't jive with why the buffs go up to 9, though, so it could be more elaborate.Maybe her text has additional clues. Let's look at Mrs. Fluffymuffins - the stand-out clue is mana cake. I doubt you have to actually bring mana cake to the cat (not even sure how that would work). But if we look up mana cake, we find that it's the rank 7 mage spell of conjure refreshment. Maybe her magic number is 7.For the record, I just tested petting Mrs. Fluffymuffins for a few minutes, and she stunned me for every pet level (1, 2, 3, etc). So even if she is somehow "first," this test still strongly indicates this is a 5 man challenge and can't be solo'd. I also tried starting with Bella and doing 5, she still stunned me.edit: I just explored the Menagerie and Twilight Vineyards, looking for dressers and toys/trinkets. A number of merchants in the Menagerie sell lots of different kinds of food (but no mana cakes), and several sell souvenir murlocs, raptors, and elekks. Each one costs 100 ancient mana and can be placed on the ground (and picked back up). You can buy multiples. I've just tried placing them on/near the kittens, nothing happened. They disappear pretty quickly if left on the ground. The only dresser I found was across from the wine-making WQ lady, didn't find anything though.
As someone with Crazy Cat Lady on every female toon (Guy just doesn't work) I'm interested :P Still seems odd to put in 8.0 but I guess it's been a month of this instance open that no one noticed then? Still it seems like no one but dedicated groups would want to run it, unless it links to BFA content, which wouldn't be AS odd a choice when you think of the tour of instances you have to go on for the other special mounts.
